The container defines an inner region inside which liquid is adapted to be held and includes one or more walls for facilitating heating or cooling of the liquid therethrough, the one or more walls being adapted for invagination by a temperature control probe such that the temperature control probe extends into the container without directly contacting contents of the inner region of the container.

Abstract: A Connector for corrugated pipes or rods comprises a housing (2) having an open end (3) for insertion of a pipe or rod into a bore (5). A pair of resilient locking members of fingers (9) are formed in the housing wall and include projections (10) which extend into the bore (5). The projections are so shaped as to lock into a single valley of the pipe or rod corrugations to prevent withdrawal of the pipe or rod. Also disclosed are methods of moulding the connector in which the fingers (9) are held and/or forced outwardly from the mould during withdrawal of a central core which forms the bore (5) to avoid damage of the fingers by the core.

Abstract: A junction box (1) adapted to have releasably connected fittings (12,14,15,16,17) of variable inlet diameters and connections. The fitings (12,14,15,16,17) have castellations (18) and an abutment face (21) defining an annular recess (20). The castellations (18) fit into cutouts (22) in the port (3) whereby when said fitting (12) is rotated the castellations have tightening means (38) which force against the castellations (33) of the port (3) forming a seal between sealing faces (24) of the port (3) and abutment face (21) of the fitting (12) to prevent lateral movement and whereby the projection (25) in the port (3) rides up over the ramp surface (19) to lock into the locking recess (27) to prevent rotational movement. The ramp surface being suitably shaped so as to allow for its defamation by manual means to allow for unlocking of the connector.
