  • Patent number: 7514635
Abstract: The shaft includes two electrically conducting connecting pieces (2, 3), which can be connected to different electric potentials, and also an insulating tube (4), which can be subjected to torsional loading. The two connecting pieces (2, 3) are respectively fastened to one of the two ends of the insulating tube (4). In order that the shaft can also transmit great torques, the following means are provided for fastening at least one of the two connecting pieces (2, 3): An adhesive joint (5), which is formed by a cone (6) formed into one end of the insulating tube (4) and made to run from the circumferential surface (7) to the inner surface (8) of the insulating tube (4) and also by a mating cone (9) formed into the at least one connecting piece (2, 3), and by a gap (10) formed by the cone (6) and mating cone (9) and filled with adhesive.
