Abstract: The present invention relates to a thermoplastic polyurethane composition imparted with crosslinking sites, which comprise a thermoplastic polyurethane containing crosslinking sites incorporated into the molecule of a polyol and/or a chain extender. The thermoplastic polyurethane composition has an easy-to-process viscosity at a processing temperature of about 130° C. or below in a low-temperature foaming process that is performed using an existing EVA crosslinking/foaming system. Thus, the thermoplastic polyurethane composition may be easily mixed with a crosslinking agent, a foaming agent and various additives, and when it is press-molded or injection-molded to provide a crosslinked foam, foam cells are easily formed by the crosslinking sites incorporated into the molecule of the polyol and/or the chain extender.

Abstract: Techniques for providing plant growth lights with improved performance and cost are discussed herein. Some embodiments may provide for a light emitting diode (LED) flip chip chip-on-board (COB) module for optimizing plant growth, including: a circuit board; ultraviolet (UV) LED flip chips connected to the circuit board; a royal-blue phosphor or fluorescent layer covering a first portion of the UV LED flip chips; and a deep-red phosphor or fluorescent layer covering a second portion of the UV LED flip chips. The royal-blue phosphor or fluorescent layer absorbs UV light generated by the first portion of the UV LED flip chips and converts the UV light into broad-band light in royal-blue spectrums. The a deep-red phosphor or fluorescent layer absorbs UV light generated by the second portion of the UV LED flip chips and converts the UV light into broad-band light in deep-red spectrums.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for improving the performance of voice recognition in a mobile device are provided. The method of recognizing a voice includes: monitoring the usage pattern of a user of a device for inputting a voice; selecting predetermined words from among words stored in the device based on the result of monitoring, and storing the selected words; and recognizing a voice based on an acoustic model and predetermined words. In this way, a voice can be recognized by using prediction of whom the user mainly makes a call to. Also, by automatically modeling the device usage pattern of the user and applying the pattern to vocabulary for voice recognition based on probabilities, the performance of voice recognition, as actually felt by the user, can be enhanced.
