Abstract: A paper feeding control method for compensating the rotational speed of a paper feeding roller by varying the rotational speed appropriately according to the paper feed delay when detecting the presence of the paper feed delay on a paper feeding path of a liquid electrophotographic color printing device. The paper feeding control method measures the time taken for a paper to be fed on the paper feeding path to a certain part of the feeding path, and determines the presence and degree of the paper delayed at the certain part by comparing the measured time at the certain part with a preset paper feeding time for the certain part. Next, according to the determination made, the method adjusts the rotational speed of the driving motor for driving the paper feeding roller to increase the rotational speed of the paper feeding roller, and to compensate for the paper feed delay.

Abstract: An image forming device forms an image on a recordable medium with image data supplied from a document. The device provides an otpimum print quality by varying a fixing temperature of a fixing unit after presuming an amount of consumed toner. In another embodiment, the image forming device is capable of supplying an optimum print quality by varying a transferring voltage level of a transfer unit after presuming the amount of consumed toner.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus having a cassette-type cleaner for removing contaminants sticking to the surface of a photosensitive medium or a transfer roller including a photoreceptor belt circulating along an endless track by a plurality of rollers, a laser scanning unit for forming a latent electrostatic image on the photoreceptor belt, a development unit for developing the latent electrostatic image formed on the photoreceptor belt into a toner image; a drying unit for drying the photoreceptor belt; a transfer unit for transferring the toner image of the photoreceptor belt onto a sheet of paper, and a cassette-type cleaner having a case having a cavity at its one side, a cleaning belt partially exposed by the cavity and installed within the case so as to contact the contaminated portion of the image forming apparatus, and first and second guiding rollers rotatably installed within the case and spaced a predetermined distance spaced apart, for guiding the cleaning belt.

Abstract: A developing unit of a multi-color image forming device and a controlling method thereof employ a rotatable turret and a plurality of developers, each having a developing roller. The developer contacts a photosensitive drum only when a toner image is formed on the photosensitive drum by moving the developer radially to the rotary center of the turret using a developer transporting unit, such as a cylinder.
