  • Patent number: 11906073
Abstract: An actuator for a vehicle coolant control valve according to the present invention includes: a drive unit to generate driving power; an output unit to drive a control valve, which selectively opens/closes a coolant flow for a vehicle using the driving power provided by the drive unit; and a sensing unit to sense an output condition of the output unit, wherein the sensing unit is provided with a position sensor to sense a position of the output unit and an electro-magnetic compatibility (EMC) filter to filer EMC. According to the above configuration, a single printed circuit board may have a function of an EMC board and a function of a sensor board, which are advantageous in ensuring space and design freedom to thus contribute to improvement of control quality.

  • Patent number: 9423044
Abstract: A piezoelectric valve operated by voltage and a method of manufacturing the piezoelectric valve. The piezoelectric valve includes: a valve body; a valve unit; a plate-shaped piezoelectric element; an insulation stick for insulating the piezoelectric element; an adjustment bolt attached to the valve body with the insulation stick fitted over the bolt; an elastic body elastically supporting the insulation stick; an adjustment nut tightened to the adjustment bolt for moving along the bolt by rotation of the bolt so as to displace the insulation stick and an end of the piezoelectric element by pushing the insulation stick; and an adjuster for moving the adjustment nut along the adjustment bolt by a pivoting of the adjustment bolt, thereby adjusting a pushing force of the insulation stick. The piezoelectric valve can reduce economic loss in manufactured valves because the valve flow rate can be adjusted even after assembling the valve body.

  • Patent number: 8631825
Abstract: A piezo valve actuated by an electric voltage. The piezo valve includes a valve body having at least one port for introducing a fluid therethrough, an internal chamber communicating with the port, at least one valve seat for allowing the fluid to pass therethrough, and a circuit board for supplying an electric voltage; a valve unit opening or closing the valve seat of the valve body; a piezo plate bending-strained to either of opposite sides in response to the electric voltage, thus moving the valve unit; and a fastener fastening an end of the piezo plate to the valve body in a state in which a position of the piezo plate can be adjusted. Because the end of the piezo plate is fastened by the fastener, it is possible to fasten the piezo plate in a state in which the fastened position of the piezo plate can be adjusted.

  • Patent number: 7255952
Abstract: The solid oxide fuel cell according to the present invention is directed to a support type or self-support type single cell in which four sides or opposite two sides of corners of the single cell are downwardly bent in an inverted U shape and have gas channels in the inner side and/or outer side with a straight line structure or lattice shape structure, so that a separating plate can be used without gas channels or channel support. A smooth flow of a reaction gas is implemented in the directions of the air electrode and the fuel electrode of a single cell.
