Abstract: A golf coaching system and a method thereof are disclosed. The golf coaching system may include: a swing measurement device that measures at least one of a swing trajectory and a posture change during a swing; a striking prediction device that predicts striking by measuring at least one of a ball speed, a swing speed, and a launch angle; and a data analysis server that generates coaching information based on data measured by the swing measurement device and the striking prediction device.

Abstract: An exemplary embodiment has been made in an effort to provide a distance measuring apparatus, including: an output unit configured to output information; a memory configured to store map information of golf courses; a location acquiring sensor configured to acquire a current location; a distance measuring sensor configured to measure a distance to a target; a slope sensor configured to measure a tilt angle; and a control unit configured to read map information of the golf course corresponding to the current location from the memory, to calculate a first distance from the current location to a first point on the golf course by using the map information, to calculate a horizontal distance to the target by using the distance to the target and the tilt angle, and to output the horizontal distance to the output unit when the horizontal distance is within the first distance.

Abstract: Adistance measuring apparatus related to one exemplary embodiment includes: a display unit; a memory, in which map information about golf courses is stored; a location acquiring sensor configured to acquire a current location; an azimuth sensor configured to measure an azimuth; and a control unit configured to read map information of a golf course corresponding to the current location from the memory, and display a course map image, in which an object corresponding to the current location and a virtual line corresponding to the azimuth are displayed, on the display unit by using the map information.

Abstract: A distance measuring apparatus includes: a display unit; a memory configured to store map information of golf courses; a location acquiring sensor configured to acquire a current location; a distance measuring sensor configured to measure a distance to a target; a slope sensor configured to measure a tilt angle; and a control unit configured to read out map information of a golf course corresponding to the current location from the memory, to calculate a horizontal distance to the target by using the distance to the target and the tilt angle, and to display a course map image on which an object corresponding to the current location and a first lead line connecting points that are spaced from the current location depending on the horizontal distance are displayed, on the display unit.
