Abstract: Disclosed is a filter cleaning apparatus and a ductless dryer adopting the same, the dryer having a main body, a drum rotatably mounted at the main body, a hot air supplying unit supplying hot air into the drum, a heat exchanger condensing and removing moisture contained in air exhausted from the drum, a circulation duct conducing the air exhausted from the drum to the heat exchanger, a filter installed in the circulation duct and filtering foreign substances contained in the air discharged from the drum, and a filter cleaning apparatus removing the foreign substances caught by the filter, thereby enhancing a user's convenience and reducing indoor air contamination which may occur in the course of removing the foreign substances.

Abstract: A vegetable room for a refrigerator includes: a vegetable box (20) disposed inside a refrigerator in which cooling air is supplied and circulated and which a shelf (10) for receiving food item is provided, having a receptacle space (5) for receiving food items formed to be opened upwardly; a box cover (30) for covering an opening side of the vegetable box (20) to close the receptacle space (5) of the vegetable box (20) and having a cooling air ventilating hole (31) formed at one side thereof to allow cooling air to be introduced into the receptacle space (5); and a cooling air opening and closing unit (24) for selectively opening and closing the cooling air ventilating hole (31) of the box cover (30). A preservation condition of food items stored in a vegetable room can be optimized regardless of an environment outside a refrigerator.

Abstract: A drum for a clothes dryer in which an internal structure, especially, a baffle structure, of the drum is improved to prevent target items from being entangled and damaged during a drying operation to thereby improve the drying efficiency of the clothes dryer. Rotatable balls are inserted in the baffles mounted on an internal surface of the drum, the mounting arrangement of the baffles is changed, or the baffles are modified to thus improve the drying operation. In addition, an absorbent is filled in the baffles to thus increase the drying efficiency.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an immunoassay and diagnostic reagent for malaria by using antigens of malarial Protozoa. More preferably, the present invention relates to an immunoassay and diagnostic reagent for malaria which detect malaria-specific antibodies in blood by using Merozoite Surface Protein of Plasmodium vivax. The immunoassay and diagnostic reagent detecting malaria-specific antibodies in blood according to the present invention have high specificity and sensitivity and are useful in diagnosing a type of malaria where latent period is long and number of Protozoa in blood if few. Also, the present invention relates to a preparation method of the surface protein of malarial Protozoa using yeast or E. Coli. Preferably, the present invention provides an expression vector comprising genes of Merozoite Surface Protein of Plasmodium Vivax and histidine residues, as well as transformants transformed with the expression vector.

Abstract: The present invention relates to diagnostic reagents for antibody against hepatitis B surface antigen and for antibody against hepatitis B virus using a sandwich immunoassay as a quantitative or qualitative analysis method for antibody against hepatitis B surface antigen and for antibody against hepatitis B virus, characterized in that each diagnostic reagent comprises a pair of hepatitis B surface antigens which are different each other and composed of primary antigen immobilized on a solid support and secondary antigen conjugated to a marker. Also, the present invention relates to preparation methods thereof. Further, the present invention relates to diagnostic methods for antibody against hepatitis B surface antigen and for antibody against hepatitis B virus.
