  • Publication number: 20090292839
Abstract: A semiconductor memory device includes a nonvolatile memory device having a plurality of physical sectors, and a memory controller configured to translate a logical address received from a host to a physical address, with reference to mapping data that defines a correspondence between the logical address and the physical address. The nonvolatile memory device is configured to access a first physical sector corresponding to the physical address, and, when a data delete command is provided from the host to the memory controller to delete first data that is stored in the first physical sector, the memory controller delays an erase and/or merge operation for the first physical sector in which the first data is stored.

  • Patent number: 7563104
Abstract: The Printed Circuit Board (PCB) has connectors which each include a terminal part and a connector pin. The terminal part is formed in one end of the PCB and is provided with a terminal hole. The connector pin is configured such that one end thereof is inserted into the terminal hole, and the remaining end thereof extends to protrude outside the terminal hole and is also bent several times, thus forming a contact part that is elastically deformed, and electrically connected to a pad part provided in a target PCB for connection. Thus, a desirable signal transmission characteristic is guaranteed, so that the reliability of electronic devices using the PCB can be improved and the manufacturing cost can also be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20090119353
Abstract: In one aspect, a determination is made as whether partition metadata of a solid state memory has changed, and if so, the partition metadata is analyzed to locate invalid data stored in the solid state memory. This analysis may include determining that a file system type of a partition has changed, and invalidating data in response to the changed file system type. Alternately, or in addition, the analysis may include determining that a partition has changed, and invalidating data in response to the changed partition.

  • Publication number: 20010004065
Abstract: A process of manufacturing a roll punch used for forming the partition walls on the rear panel of a PDP is disclosed. In the process of this invention, a forming roll is primarily coated with a mask on its external surface. The mask is, thereafter, partially removed from the forming roll, thus forming a plurality of regularly spaced mask-free parts on the forming roll. The forming roll is, thereafter, etched at the mask-free parts using ultrasonic waves within an etching tank, and so a desired roll punch having partition wall forming grooves is produced. This manufacturing process enlarges the width of the lands between the forming grooves of the roll punch, thus allowing an easy arrangement of address electrodes on the rear panel of a PDP. It is also possible to produce a desired highly precise roll punch by properly adjusting the intervals between the mask-free parts of the forming roll.

  • Patent number: 6097018
Abstract: A microwave oven includes a magnetron for generating electromagnetic wave energy, a waveguide for guiding and directing the electromagnetic wave energy into a cavity body defining a cooking chamber, and an antenna for radiating the electromagnetic wave energy generated by the magnetron into the waveguide. The waveguide includes a first opening for uniformly dispersing the electromagnetic wave energy into the cooking chamber, a second opening for uniformly dispersing the electromagnetic wave energy into the cooking chamber, and a short circuit for providing a short surface to the antenna. The first opening is formed on a portion of the waveguide which contacts the cavity body and extends along a longitudinal direction. The second opening is spaced away from and having a predetermined angle with respect to the first opening.
