  • Publication number: 20180268983
Abstract: A coil component includes a body having a coil part embedded therein, and an external electrode connected to the coil part. The body contains a plurality of first magnetic particles and a plurality of second magnetic particles, the second magnetic particles being smaller than the first magnetic particles, and the pluralities of first and second magnetic particles are dispersed in a main insulating portion. The plurality of second magnetic particles are dispersed in each of a plurality of sub-insulating portions to constitute composites, and a volume percentage of the second magnetic particles in the composites is 80% to 90%.

  • Publication number: 20150015359
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a soft magnetic composite including an insulating layer formed along an inter-particle boundary of a soft magnetic core metal powder, a method for preparing the same, and electronic components including the same as a core material. The soft magnetic composite according to the present invention may include the insulating layer formed along the inter-particle boundary of the soft magnetic core metal particles, such that damage to a coating film caused by a molding of the existing soft magnetic powder having the insulation coating film formed therein may be prevented, whereby an eddy current loss may be minimized.

  • Patent number: 8268092
Abstract: Provided are a magnetic sheet for use in a radio frequency identification (RFID) antenna, an RFID antenna including the magnetic sheet, and a method of manufacturing the magnetic sheet, in which the magnetic sheet includes an amorphous alloy selected from the group consisting of Fe—Si—B, Fe—Si—B—Cu—Nb, Fe—Zr—B and Co—Fe—Si—B. The magnetic sheet is made by laminating amorphous alloy ribbons made of an amorphous alloy between magnetic sheet layers formed of alloy powder including at least one amorphous alloy and then compression-molding the amorphous alloy ribbons, to thereby control microcrack of the amorphous alloy ribbons and enhance characteristic of an end-product. The magnetic sheet is also thin, and has an excellent magnetic permeability, and a simple manufacturing process.
