  • Publication number: 20240145719
Abstract: A binder solution for an all-solid-state battery, an electrode slurry for an all-solid-state battery including the same and a method of manufacturing an all-solid-state battery using the same, and more particularly to a binder solution for an all-solid-state battery, in which a polymer binder configured such that a non-polar functional group is bonded to the end of a polar functional group is used, whereby the polar functional group is provided by a deprotection mechanism of the polymer binder through a thermal treatment, thus increasing adhesion between electrode materials to thereby improve battery capacity and enabling a wet process to thereby reduce manufacturing costs, an electrode slurry for an all-solid-state battery including the same and a method of manufacturing an all-solid-state battery using the same.

  • Publication number: 20140376605
Abstract: Disclosed are methods and apparatuses for compressing and decompressing data at a sample rate lower than a Nyquist sampling rate for the data. The data compression apparatus comprises a domain converting part performing a domain conversion on input data to generate domain-converted input data, and a data compression part generating compressed data by down-sampling the domain-converted input data at a sampling rate lower than a Nyquist sampling rate. Therefore, data to be transmitted can be compressed in a transmitting end by sampling the data at a sampling rate lower than a Nyquist sampling rate, and then the data can be reproduced in a receiving end. Therefore, a higher compression ratio can be achieved as compared with that of conventional technologies.

  • Patent number: 7536029
Abstract: An apparatus for tracking and identifying objects includes an audio likelihood module which determines corresponding audio likelihoods for each of a plurality of sounds received from corresponding different directions, each audio likelihood indicating a likelihood a sound is an object to be tracked; a video likelihood module which receives a video and determines video likelihoods for each of a plurality of images disposed in corresponding different directions in the video, each video likelihood indicating a likelihood that the image is an object to be tracked; and an identification and tracking module which determines correspondences between the audio likelihoods and the video likelihoods, if a correspondence is determined to exist between one of the audio likelihoods and one of the video likelihoods, identifies and tracks a corresponding one of the objects using each determined pair of audio and video likelihoods.

  • Patent number: 7321670
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for detecting a face that is capable of quickly and correctly deciding whether an input facial image is occluded, regardless of any type of facial image to be inputted. The present invention is characterized in that eigenvectors and weights are extracted from the input facial image using principal component analysis (PCA) and the extracted eigenvectors and weights of the user image are substituted into a occluding-decision algorithm, whereby it can be determined whether the facial image is occluded.
