  • Publication number: 20240122069
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a plurality of host materials and organic electroluminescent devices comprising the same. The present disclosure may provide a plurality of host materials having a composition favorable to thermal denaturation due to a low deposition temperature, while improving hole properties and electronic properties of HOMO and LUMO, by comprising separate compounds represented by formulas 1 and 2 into a light-emitting layer. By comprising the plurality of host materials of the present disclosure, it is possible to provide an organic electroluminescent device having a lower driving voltage, higher luminous efficiency and/or longer lifetime.

  • Patent number: 8100215
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention may provide a module for detecting a vehicle crash. The module includes a housing mounted to a vehicular frame member at one end portion thereof. The module includes first and second rods housed in the housing. The first rod is contacted to the frame member at one end thereof through the one end portion of the housing. The second rod is contacted to the opposite end of the first rod and being disposed between the first rod and the opposite end portion of the housing. The module includes first and second sensors mounted to the first and second rods respectively for detecting a crash by sequentially measuring stress wave caused by the crash. The first sensor detects a stress wave propagating through the first rod and outputting a signal. The second sensor detects a stress wave propagating through the second rod and outputting a signal.

  • Patent number: 7556118
Abstract: The present invention may provide an airbag system for an automobile and a method of operating the same. The airbag system comprises the following: sensors mounted on a frame member of a the vehicle frame for detecting a crash by sequentially measuring stress wave cause by the crash; an electronic control unit for outputting an actuation signal based on outputs from the sensors; an inflator for generating a gas in response to the actuation signal; and an airbag operatively coupled to the inflator and being deployed by supply of the gas generated from the inflator. The sensors are mounted on the frame member at predetermined intervals in a path, along which the stress waves propagate through the frame member. The electronic control unit outputs the actuation signal when each output from each sensor exceeds a predetermined threshold.
