Abstract: A method and an apparatus for displaying a plurality of different images in a mobile terminal in an external display device and a display unit in various modes. The mobile terminal operates according to a Different Image In and Out (DIIO) mode when the external display device is connected to the mobile terminal. When the external display device is not connected to the mobile terminal, the mobile terminal displays the plurality of different images in the display unit of the mobile terminal by operating according to a Picture-In-Picture (PIP) mode or an Overlay mode, so as to take into consideration size limitations of the display unit of the mobile terminal.

Abstract: Disclosed is a panoramic image photographing apparatus including a camera module for photographing an image of subject, an image processing unit for generating preview image data according to an operating mode for panoramic photographing by the camera module, a storage unit for storing data of an image panoramic-photographed from the preview image data, a controller for setting a portion of image data stored in the storage unit as a first guide region, setting a portion of the preview image data as a second guide region, and for calculating a degree of accordance between the first guide region and the second guide region and a display unit for displaying, together with the preview image data, the degree of accordance of the second guide region with the first guide region on one screen.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of removing image noise of a camera having an illumination sensor. The method includes: grasping the noise response characteristics of the camera and storing mean signal-to-noise ratio values for respective illumination values in a low frequency region and a high frequency region; acquiring the present illumination value using the illumination sensor when photographing an image; reading mean signal-to-noise ratio values of the low frequency region and the high frequency region corresponding to the present illumination value from the stored mean signal-to-noise ratio values; and applying the read mean signal-to-noise values to filters for respective frequency regions, thereby filtering the signals of the photographed image.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for performing color conversion using a color cache is disclosed. The apparatus includes a color converter for acquiring an after conversion color by performing a color conversion operation of a color of a predetermined pixel, a color cache for storing before conversion colors and after conversion colors of previous pixels color-converted by the color converter and searching for the same color by comparing the color of the predetermined pixel to the stored colors before conversion when the predetermined pixel is input, and a controller for transmitting the color of the predetermined pixel to the color cache, controlling the color cache to search whether the same color as that of the predetermined pixel is stored in the color cache, acquiring a after conversion color from the color converter or the color cache according to the search result, and transmitting the color after conversion to the outside.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for providing calorimetric information are provided. A camera photographs an image including a desired calorimetric portion. A controller computes a mean color value of the desired colorimetric portion from the photographed image and retrieves a colorimetric value mapped to the computed mean color value from a pre-stored color table. If the colorimetric value mapped to the computed mean color value is retrieved from the pre-stored color table, a display receives the retrieved calorimetric value from the controller and outputs the colorimetric value as colorimetric information of the desired calorimetric portion.

Abstract: A color setting apparatus and method for a system for reproducing multimedia data are provided. The apparatus includes a color setting controller for displaying a closed curve band divided into at least two equal-sized sections each containing a different color, and a setting band having at least two sections for indicating change of a set value of each of the colors on a screen, and for changing the set value of a selected color and displaying the changed color according to the changed set value on the screen.
