Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a main body unit which has an image forming unit; a door unit which couples with the main body unit to open and close the main body unit, and has a projection at one side thereof; a mid-transfer unit which couples with the door unit; a coupling knob which is provided in the main body unit and rotates in cooperation with pressure of the projection when the door unit is closed; and a coupling apparatus which is provided in the main body and transmits a driving force from the main body unit to the mid-transfer unit in cooperation with the rotation of the coupling knob.

Abstract: Methods and compositions for depositing a film on one or more substrates include providing a reactor with at least one substrate disposed in the reactor. At least one alkaline earth metal precursor and at least one titanium containing precursor are provided, vaporized, and at least partly deposited onto the substrate to form a strontium and titanium or a strontium and titanium and barium containing film.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus and an auto color registration method thereof. The image forming apparatus performs an auto color registration (ACR) operation by excluding or minimizing the influence caused by variation in speed of a drive unit driving a transfer member. The image forming apparatus includes a controller, which prints a test pattern of each color according to a rotation period of the drive unit, and controls an operation for outputting an image in which each color registration error is corrected on the basis of the test pattern, such that a reliability of the ACR operation is increased and a quality of an image output from the image forming apparatus is also increased.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a main body having an air inlet and an air outlet. A fixing unit is mounted in the main body and fuses an image onto a recording medium. A heat blocking member is disposed between the fixing unit and the main body to prevent heat generated by the fixing unit from being transmitted to the main body. A suction fan draws in external air to a space between the main body and the heat blocking member. A ventilation passage is provided to the heat blocking member to enable circulation of the external air drawn in by the suction fan and internal air overheated by the fixing unit. Accordingly, the temperature difference between the internal air heated by the fixing unit and the external air flowing between the fixing unit and the main body is reduced, thereby preventing generation of moisture at the heat blocking member.
