  • Publication number: 20230054133
Abstract: A system of cameras can be used to generate a complete field of view within an edge network. For example, one camera can have a field of view where part of the view is obstructed by an object and/or by the camera's orientation. Yet another camera that is a part of the edge network can supplement the view of the first camera by providing an alternate view. The two views can be stitched together by a coordinate system such that a complete field of view can be utilized by both cameras. Additionally, where a field of view is not available by any stationary camera, the system can dispatch a mobile camera to help supplement the views.

  • Patent number: 11582757
Abstract: A framework for dynamic network resource allocation and energy saving based on the real-time environment, radio network information, and machine learning (ML) can be utilized via a radio access network (RAN) intelligent controller (RIC). Real-time and predicted network utilization can facilitate resource and energy savings by leveraging the RIC platform. For example, a network information base (NIB) in the RIC platform can collects RAN and user equipment (UE) resource related information in real time and provides the abstraction of the access network in the real time. ML can predict real-time information about the UEs at time t based on data analytics and real time radio resource needs. The RIC can then instruct the network to reduce or increase resources.

  • Patent number: 11576019
Abstract: In a 6G network, microservices can be utilized in the absence of a core network. For example, after a mobile device has authenticated, through its carrier network, with a transport service layer, microservices can be allocated to the mobile device without having to be transmitted via the core network. Thus, removing the core network from the process can generate a direct line of microservices from the transport layer to the end-user. Furthermore, additional microservices and/or resources can be access through a microservices library. Consequently, packets can be securely transmitted be a wireless network facilitating sending packet profile data from one to many node devices in anticipation of the packet traversing the various node devices.

  • Patent number: 11563519
Abstract: A user equipment (e.g., C-V2X user equipment) can receive a transmission from a network device of a mobile network and decode the transmission using a first forward error correction code. The user equipment can determine an attribute of the transmission to determine a condition of the communication channel. Based on the condition of the communication channel, the user equipment can facilitate transmitting feedback to the network device, wherein the feedback is forwarded through the mobile network to an application server device that selects a second forward error correction code based on the feedback. The second forward error correction code can be transmitted to, and received by, the user equipment. The user equipment can use the second forward error correction code to decode subsequent transmissions.

  • Patent number: 11561538
Abstract: Deployed drones are managed. For instance, a first drone detects whether the first drone is in communication with a command center via a first communication network to determine a configuration parameter of a first message to broadcast discovery information associated with the first drone. In response to the first drone being in communication with the command center via the first communication network, the first drone broadcasts the first message configured with a first value for the configuration parameter. Or, in response to the first drone not being in communication with the command center via the first communication network, the first drone broadcasts the first message configured with a second value for the configuration parameter different from the first value.

  • Publication number: 20230008959
Abstract: Structured access to volunteered private data disclosed. Access can be based on security and privacy constraint information (SPCI) that can be selected by the party volunteering the private data. The volunteered data can be stored in a protected portion of a public network. The SPCI can be correlated to the volunteered data. ln response to receiving a request for access to the volunteered data, an attribute of the request can be determined to satisfy one or more rules related to the SPCI prior to facilitating access to a version of a portion of the volunteered data. The version of the portion of the volunteered data can be a redaction of the portion of the volunteered data. The version of the portion of the volunteered data can be aggregated with other portions of other volunteered data determined to satisfy corresponding SPCI related rules.

  • Patent number: 11527166
Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to intelligent drone traffic management via a radio access network (“RAN”). As disclosed herein, a RAN node, such as an eNodeB, can receive, from a drone, a flight configuration. The flight configuration can include a drone ID and a drone route. The RAN node can determine whether capacity is available in an airspace associated with the RAN node. In response to determining that capacity is available in the airspace associated with the RAN node, the RAN node can add the drone ID to a queue of drones awaiting use of the airspace associated with the RAN node. When the drone ID is next in the queue of drones awaiting use of the airspace associated with the RAN node, the RAN node can instruct the drone to fly through at least a portion of the airspace in accordance with the drone route.

  • Publication number: 20220394798
Abstract: Techniques for creating a service slice of a network in an underserved area are presented. A vehicle can be associated with a slice component that can generate service slices of a service network for various services. The vehicle can travel to an underserved area that does not have adequate wireless coverage or advance capabilities. For a communication device associated with an entity located in an underserved area, slice component can generate a service slice to connect the communication device to the communication network (and service network), establish a session with the communication device, provide applications, including VNF applications, to the communication device, and communicate information between the communication device and communication network (and service network). If no radio access to the network is available, slice component can continue the session with an internal slice and store information in its service database, which is synced when reconnected to the network.
