Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for inducing artificial hibernation of fish that is capable of transporting the fish in a state of being alive for long hours. According to the present invention, a water temperature is gradually decreased from an initial water temperature to the lowest water temperature, the fish are induced to the artificial hibernation, and they are packed in a waterless state. The packing is carried out in an environment where the lowest water temperature is constantly maintained, and a refrigerant is also packed to constantly maintain a temperature in a packing container, while oxygen is continuously supplied to the live fish induced to the artificial hibernation. The fish are individually packed in the Styrofoam box, and even if an atmospheric pressure in the airport is lowered during transport of the fish, there is no danger of causing respiration of the fish to be hard due to a plastic bag damaged.

Abstract: An apparatus for transmitting print data using multiple virtual connections and a method thereof capable of greatly improving a data transmission speed by forming a plurality of virtual connections, dividing the print data, and simultaneously transmitting the divided data through the virtual connections. The method includes receiving the print data and obtaining information on a total length (TL) of the print data and maximum virtual connections (MC), acquiring real virtual connections (RC) by attempting the virtual connections to a printing device the same number of times as the number of maximum virtual connections, and transmitting divided data to the printing device through the real virtual connections.

Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for avoiding interference during a call in a portable terminal that supports Unlicensed Mobile Access (UMA). The method includes measuring a Carrier to Interference and Noise Ratio (CINR) of a channel in which a call is established, and comparing the CINR with a predetermined first threshold; if the CINR of the channel is greater than the first threshold, searching for a peripheral channel and measuring a CINR of the peripheral channel; comparing the CINR of the peripheral channel with a predetermined second threshold; and if the CINR of the peripheral channel is less than the second threshold, determining that is a handover to be performed to the peripheral channel.

Abstract: A print system and method are presented, wherein the present print system comprises a management database for storing information on documents and information on persons authorized to print the documents, an authentication part for determining whether a person requesting the printing is authorized to print the documents, and issuing an authentication number upon requesting prints of the documents, a print data converter for converting the document and the authentication number issued from the authentication part into a printer control language that the printer can recognize, and a controller for, upon requesting the printing of the documents, requesting the authentication part to authenticate the person requesting the printing of the documents, and, if the person is authorized to print the documents, activating the print data converter to convert the documents and the authentication number into the printer control language for printing.

In the network scanning method, user terminals and scanners, which are indicated by a management multicast address, are registered as members. A device multicast address of each scanner is determined. A user terminal registered as a member determines one or more scanners having a desired scan characteristic based on an advertisement of each of one or more scanners registered as members, registers itself in the determined one or more scanners, designates and reserves a desired scanner among the one or more scanners in which the user terminal has been registered. The reserved scanner receives a document from the user terminal that made reservation, scans the document, transmits a scan result to one or more user terminals indicated by the device multicast address of the reserved scanner.
