Abstract: In a method of manufacturing a cathode active material for a lithium secondary battery, a preliminary lithium metal oxide particle is prepared. The preliminary lithium metal oxide particle is cleaned using a boron compound cleaning solution. A cathode active material for a lithium secondary particle includes a lithium metal oxide particle where a ratio of a B+ peak intensity relative to a sum of peak intensities of Li+, B+ and LiB+ fragments by a TOF-SIMS analysis is in a range from 0.03% to 1.5%.

Abstract: Provided are an isolating device, a method of replacing an isolating structure part, and a method of controlling a load of the isolating structure part. The isolating device disposed between an upper structure and a lower structure includes an isolating structure part for performing an isolating function, and a height-adjustable part disposed on at least one of positions between the isolating structure part and the upper structure and between the isolating structure part and the lower structure, the height-adjustable part being adjusted in height by supplying or discharging fluid therein or therefrom.

Abstract: The scanner includes: a transporting unit which transports a manuscript and passes the manuscript through a preset image reading position; an image reading unit which outputs a scan image obtained by sequentially line-scanning the manuscript passing through the image reading position; at least two actuators which are isolated from each other in a horizontal direction with respect to a manuscript transport direction, each having a first end portion which is movable with interference with the manuscript being transported and a second end portion which is placed on a scanning line scanned by the image reading unit and is movable in interlock with the first end portion; and an image processing unit which reads images for skew detection which are formed in the scan image by the movement of the second end portions.
