    Abstract: A surface plasmon resonance imaging apparatus is provided. The surface plasmon resonance imaging apparatus includes a light irradiation unit configured to irradiate polarized light onto a metal coating film provided on one surface of a prism, a light modulator configured to spatially pattern-encode light reflected by the metal coating film and the prism, a light detector configured to detect a pattern-encoded light signal, obtained through pattern-encoding by the light modulator, as a spectral signal, a signal processor configured to spatially decode the spectral signal and analyze a decoded spectral signal to generate characteristic data of a sample provided on the metal coating film, and an output unit configured to output the characteristic data of the sample as a two-dimensional (2D) image.

A copper sulfide catalyst and the method for synthesizing NH3 via an electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) using the Cu1.81S catalyst are provided in order to reduce a limiting potential (UL) required for the NRR. In the NRR for the NH3 synthesis, it is provided the copper sulfide catalyst that can be used in any one of two different pathways for the NRR, and the method for synthesizing NH3 with higher activity of the NRR based thereon.

The core-shell structured nanocatalyst includes a core composed of spherical silica immobilized with noble metal nanoparticles and a mesoporous shell surrounding the core. The use of the nanocatalyst with a mesoporous shell for the production of hydrogen peroxide from hydrogen and oxygen ensures high hydrogen conversion and hydrogen peroxide production rate compared to the use of conventional nanoparticle catalysts with a microporous shell. Also disclosed is a method for hydrogen peroxide production using the nanocatalyst.
