Abstract: A system for collecting end-of-life mobile phones includes a kiosk apparatus for performing an authentication procedure in which an authentication request is made using registration information including registrant information and end-of-life mobile phone information and a barcode label is issued when an authentication number is input according to the authentication request, and an identifying procedure for storing or discharging the end-of-life mobile phone by checking the presence of the barcode label attached thereto and identifying whether the mobile terminal is a normal mobile phone when the end-of-life mobile phone is put therein; and an integrated operation system having an operating system program to communicate with a plurality of kiosk apparatuses through a network, issue the authentication number corresponding to the authentication request of the kiosk apparatus, and check and statistically analyze an individual or integrated collection amount of kiosk apparatuses.

Abstract: A Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) system and method of providing content therein are provided. A legacy media player displays a content list for content stored in the legacy media player or in an add-in server, and when a content item is selected from the list, the legacy media player determines whether the content item is reproducible by a registered digital media renderer. If the selected content item is reproducible by the registered digital media renderer, the legacy media player transmits a reproducing request for the selected content item, and the corresponding digital media renderer receives and reproduces the selected content.

Abstract: A method is provided for searching a route of a mobile node in a short-range communication environment. A first router to which a mobile node belongs acquires a unique address of the mobile node for communication with the mobile node. The first router determines whether the mobile node travels during communication. When the mobile node travels, the first router broadcasts the unique address of the mobile node to one or more neighboring routers and determines whether the one or more neighboring routers include the mobile node. If a second router, which is one of the one or more neighboring routers, includes the mobile node, the second router performs communication using the unique address without an additional address acquisition process.

Abstract: Disclosed is an RFID tag for protecting information and a method for protecting personal information. The RFID tag for protecting information includes an encoder for simultaneously outputting first and second signals so as not to allow the RFID reader to distinguish respective RFID tags from each other in accordance with an information request signal from an RFID reader, a modulator for modulating the first and second signals output from the encoder, and first and second antennas respectively for outputting the modulated first and second signals. Therefore, personal information can be protected by preventing the information of the respective RFID tags from being read by unauthorized RFID.
