  • Publication number: 20070110639
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of forming at least one nano-structure with a reusable template structure having a channel. The method includes introducing at least one reagent into the channel, and reacting the at least one reagent to form a nano-structure within the channel. The nano-structure forming channel may be positioned in alignment with one or more electrode structures, which may be positioned within or upon the substrate, may be embedded in the reusable template structure, and/or may be external electrode structures positioned outside of the reusable template structure and independent of the substrate. In addition, the electrode structures may be a source material for the formation of the nano-structure in the channel.

  • Publication number: 20060026014
Abstract: Information about whether and how subsequent transactions can be carried out for purchases of items from a provider can be automatically processed. Data regarding whether and how the subsequent transactions can be carried out is received from the provider or a surrogate of the provider. The data is arranging into a database, and a record is created from the data in the database. The creating of the record includes retrieving, from the database, data that is at least indicative of whether or how at least one subsequent transaction can be carried out for at least one item purchased from the provider, and populating the record with the retrieved data. The populating of the record with the retrieved data includes converting at least some of the retrieved data into a higher-level computer language, which is preferably extensible markup language.

  • Patent number: 6804655
Abstract: A method for transferring data bursts via a synchronous data link includes the step of receiving a burst of packets, each packet including a header and a frame of data compressed at a selected sampling rate and transmitted at a selected bit rate. At least one of the packets of the stream of packets is embedded into a carrier frame including a carrier frame header. The carrier frame is then transmitted via the synchronous link. The data frame is extracted from the carrier frame and decompressed at the sample rate.
