Abstract: According to one method for mobile device service, with a user diagnostics application running on a user mobile device a user diagnostics screen is presented to a display of the user mobile device, diagnostics data is recorded from the user mobile device in response to input made at a customer care agent terminal, the user diagnostics screen of the diagnostics application is mirrored at the customer care agent terminal and the mirrored user diagnostics screen is populated with the diagnostics data. Mobile device graphics display data is excluded from transmission to the customer care agent terminal. A system for providing the mobile device service and an associated computer program product are also provided.

Abstract: A method for evaluating cosmetic defects of a device includes capturing a plurality of images of the device under a plurality of lighting conditions, processing the images of the device into one or more final images, identifying one or more defects of the device and computing a defect index from the one or more defects. The method may be performed with a system including one or more light sources, one or more cameras configured to capture a plurality of images of a device illuminated by the one or more light sources and one or more processors configured to control the lights sources and cameras, analyze the images captured by the one or more cameras, combine the images into a final image, identify one or more defects of the device and compute a defect index from the one or more defects.

Abstract: A method for rapid transfer of content files from a source to a target includes with a controller module, exchanging wireless connectivity credentials between the source and the target through a controller over a wired connection; transferring, over the wired connection, the content files from the source, through the controller to the target over the wired connection. With a source switch module, a wireless connection is established between the source and the target with the exchanged wireless connectivity credentials and content files are transferred to the target directly over the wireless connection. The content files are received at the target from the source directly over the wireless connection.

Abstract: A system and method for automatic provisioning of devices from a host system is disclosed. A computer program operating at the host system detects new devices and performs a series of provisioning operations. These provisioning operations are pre-defined by system administrator and are customizable for each enterprise's unique environment. When the devices are shipped from device manufacturers to enterprise customers, these devices have no enterprise specific information provisioned in them. When the system administrator receives these devices they have to perform several manual and labor intensive operations on the devices. The system and method described automate the provisioning of devices thus eliminating the manual steps that are currently being performed by the users.
