Publication number: 20240026777Abstract: Smart wellhead assemblies with sensors for detecting positions of components within the bores of the wellhead assemblies are provided. In some instances, the sensors can be used to detect one or more of landing, locking, or concentricity of hangers, packoffs, or other internal wellhead components within bores. In one example, a method of installing a hanger within a wellhead includes lowering the hanger within the wellhead and using one or more sensors to detect when the hanger is at a target location. The method can also include activating a locking mechanism of the hanger and using the one or more sensors to detect when the locking mechanism has secured the hanger within the wellhead. Additional systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 4, 2023Publication date: January 25, 2024Inventors: Haw Keat Lim, Yong Wee Lee, Sanjay Menon, Srivathsan Sudershan Vuruputoor

Publication number: 20130151705Abstract: By using a unified generic resource provisioning system, all of an organization's resources may be provisioned through a single user interface system, a single cohesive data model, and a single consistent model of access. The system described herein provisions an organization's resources to both new and existing employees in response to different employee events. For example, in response to a single event that indicates that an employee has been hired by the company, he is automatically given access to a phone, a badge, a virtual machine, and SSL certificates that he can use during his employment with the company. Much later, when the same employee terminates his employment with the company, that employee's access to all of these resources is revoked in response to another single event, such as an event originating from a human resources department, indicating that employee's last date of hire with the company.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 7, 2011Publication date: June 13, 2013Applicant: APPLE INC.Inventors: Sanjay Menon, Krishnendu Chakraborty, Ajit Shrivastav

Publication number: 20130110943Abstract: A centralized notification engine, which serves notifications from multiple applications, receives a request to register a notification from a particular application. Responsive to the request, the notification engine stores information that indicates a context of the notification. The notification engine determines whether the notification satisfies metadata-specified constraints. Responsive to determining that the notification satisfies the constraints, the notification engine selects, from a set of templates, a template that is associated with the notification's context. The notification engine applies the template to information specified by the notification. As a result, a populated template is produced.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 2, 2011Publication date: May 2, 2013Applicant: APPLE INC.Inventors: Sanjay Menon, Krishnendu Chakraborty, Tanmoy Bhattacharya
