  • Publication number: 20250106181
Abstract: A device may receive a MAC address and MAC integer of a network device newly provided in a network relative to existing network devices, existing IP addresses associated with the existing network devices, and a list of available IP addresses. The device may convert the available IP addresses into integers, and may select a first available IP address. The device may identify a first integer of the first available IP address, and may combine the first integer and the MAC integer to generate a network device integer. The device may identify an IP address for the network device based on the network device integer, and may process the IP address and the existing IP addresses, with a machine learning model, to determine that the IP address is not duplicative of one of the existing IP addresses. The device may assign the IP address to the network device.

  • Publication number: 20230042601
Abstract: In some implementations, a router device may identify a network address assignment event. The router device may determine first location information for a deployment site of the router device based on identifying the network address assignment event. The router device may convert the first location information into second location information. The router device may identify a block of network addresses, of a group of blocks of network addresses, corresponding to a region of a set of defined regions. The router device may select, from the block of network addresses, an available network address for the router device. The router device may assign the available network address to an interface of the router device. The router device may enable routing using the interface based on assigning the available network address to the interface.

  • Publication number: 20210400013
Abstract: In some implementations, an audit platform may determine a first availability of a particular IP address based on data identifying IP addresses assigned for wireless and/or wireline services, a second availability of the particular IP address based on data identifying contact and registration information for IP addresses, and a third availability of the particular IP address based on data identifying active IP addresses associated with a backbone router. The audit platform may determine a fourth availability of the particular IP address based on data identifying responses to ping commands associated with the IP addresses, and a fifth availability of the particular IP address based on data identifying responses to traceroute commands associated with the IP addresses. The audit platform may calculate a confidence score, indicating a confidence level that the particular IP address is available, based on the first availability, second availability, third availability, fourth availability, and fifth availability.
