  • Publication number: 20250134582
Abstract: A probe apparatus includes a plurality of nested sheaths including an inner sheath forming an inner sheath passage and an outer sheath forming an outer sheath passage. A cannula forms an actuator linkage that extends from a proximal linkage end portion to a distal linkage end portion. The actuator linkage extends through the inner sheath passage from the proximal end portion at a main body forming a handle portion to the distal linkage end portion and forms a lumen therethrough. A blade is in connection with the distal linkage end portion and the inner sheath. An imaging apparatus includes an imager extending through the cannula at the distal linkage end portion and captures image data in a field of view.

  • Publication number: 20230169655
Abstract: Techniques are described herein for automated bone mineral density and fracture risk assessment from digital X-rays. A method includes: obtaining image data including information relating to cortical bone tissue of at least a part of a first bone; preprocessing the image data, by isolating a region of interest in the image data, to generate preprocessed image data; applying the preprocessed image data as inputs across a trained machine learning model to generate output indicative of bone mineral density of the first bone; determining a T-score value based on the bone mineral density of the first bone; and providing, on a user interface, an output based on the T-score value.

  • Publication number: 20220218379
Abstract: A surgical cutting tool with a body having a proximal end and a distal end; a cannula rotatably extending from the distal end of the body, the cannula having a proximal end and a distal end; a cutting head removably coupled to the distal end of the cannula, the cutting head having a distal tip and a cutting window; a hollow shaft movably positioned inside the cannula, the hollow shaft having a blade; a suction connector in fluid communication with the hollow shaft, the suction connector being configured for connection to a suction source; a suction control configured to alter suction from the suction connector to the hollow shaft; and an actuator coupled to the hollow shaft for moving the blade of the hollow shaft relative to the cutting window of the cutting head.

  • Publication number: 20210361151
Abstract: An endoscopic camera system having a camera with a shaft coupled to a handpiece; and a sheath with hollow tube coupled to a body. The tube has: a proximal portion coupled to the body; a bend at a distal end of the proximal portion; and a distal portion distal to the bend. The sheath is configured to deflect the shaft and the sheath is rotatable around the shaft to change a direction of the deflection.

  • Patent number: 10772735
Abstract: A distal radioulnar joint prosthesis for replacing the distal radioulnar joint and a method for its implantation is provided. Such a device includes an ulnar component, a radial component, and a motion liner. The ulnar component includes a stem, a collar, and a shell. The radial component includes a hemispherical ball and plate. The hemispherical ball of the radial component is secured with the radial plate and articulates with the ulnar shell via the motion liner. The prosthesis is designed to more accurately replicate the biomechanics of the distal wrist than currently used implants.
