  • Patent number: 11989301
Abstract: In one or more embodiments, one or more systems, one or more methods, and/or one or more processes may determine that the staged job needs to be executed by a baseboard management controller (BMC) while an information handling system (IHS) is held in a power-on self-test; create a hybrid job associated with the staged job; reboot the IHS; launch an IHS firmware application in a pre-boot IHS firmware environment; provide, to the BMC, a command to execute a first portion of the hybrid job; obtain, by the BMC, an authentication key; provide, by the BMC, the authentication key to the non-volatile storage device; execute, by the BMC, the first portion of the hybrid job to configure the non-volatile storage device; and execute, by the IHS firmware application, the second portion of the hybrid job to poll the baseboard management controller for a result status of configuring the non-volatile storage device.

  • Patent number: 11130919
Abstract: Methods and systems of producing chemical feedstocks from crude oil can include: introducing a fraction of crude oil into a catalytic hydrovisbreaker reactor, wherein the crude oil fraction is dealkylated after introduction; introducing a product stream from the catalytic hydrovisbreaker reactor and a solvent into a solvent de-asphalter unit; and introducing de-asphalted oil from the unit into a two-stage hydrocracker to produce the chemical feedstocks. The crude oil fraction can be atmospheric residue or vacuum residue. The chemical feedstocks can include C3? gases, C4-C5 gases, naphtha, BTX, and gas oil. The chemical feedstocks can be used to produce olefins and polymers.

  • Publication number: 20190270686
Abstract: A method for recovering ethylene from cracked gas comprises: (a) hydrogenating a composition comprising acetylene and an acetylene extraction solvent to produce a first gaseous hydrocarbon stream and a first liquid stream; (b) contacting the first gaseous hydrocarbon stream with a second acetylene extraction solvent stream in an acetylene scrubber unit to produce a second liquid stream and a gaseous ethylene product stream; (c) contacting the first liquid stream of step (a) with the second liquid stream of step (b) in an ethylene stripper unit to produce a recovered gaseous ethylene stream and a third liquid stream; and (d) providing the recovered gaseous ethylene stream to step (b).

  • Patent number: 6816903
Abstract: A method and system (100) for monitoring or profiling quality of service within one or more information sources in a network of computers. The method includes a step of providing a network of computers, each being coupled to each other to form a local area network. The network of computers has a firewall server (110) coupled to the network of computers and a distributed traffic management tool coupled to the firewall server. The method also includes implementing traffic monitoring or profiling of incoming and outgoing information from one of the information sources.
