  • Patent number: 12210645
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for extracting data from separate databases and loading the data into a central data store without introducing additional security vulnerabilities is disclosed. The method begins by receiving a configuration comprising one or more transformation functions to be applied to one or more data fields. Values of the one or more data fields are extracted from the databases for a plurality of records, the values being previously tagged with metadata indicating at least a datatype for the values. Based at least in part on the configuration and the metadata tagging, a function from the one or more transformation functions is selected for each value. A second database with a central data store is populated with transformed data. Requestors are not permitted to access to pre-transformed data in the first one or more databases while being allowed access to at least some post-transformed data in the central data store.

  • Patent number: 10521811
Abstract: Systems and methods for optimizing allocation of configuration elements in a service engagement. A plurality of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) corresponding to a service engagement is received. A Service Level Agreement (SLA) of the plurality of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) includes a plurality of configuration elements and a plurality of SLA compliances. A model is created by allocating a subset of the plurality of configuration elements to meet the SLA. The model is simulated to verify the plurality of SLA compliances being met by the subset allotted. Based on the simulation, a time series data indicating behavior of the model is obtained. The model is optimized to obtain an optimal allocation of the plurality of configuration elements. The model is optimized by allocating another subset of the plurality of configuration elements to meet the SLA.

  • Patent number: 10402770
Abstract: Systems and methods for assessing performance of an outsourcing engagement are described. According to the present subject matter, the system(s) implement the described method(s) for assessing the outsourcing engagement. The method includes identifying at least one Critical Success Factor (CSF) associated with the outsourcing engagement between a vendor and a client based on conducive conditions of outsourcing. The method further includes determining at least one of a plurality of parameters and a plurality of sub parameters associated with the identified at least one CSF, wherein the plurality of parameters and the plurality of sub parameters are inter dependent and effect performance of the at least one CSF. Further, the method includes assessing a value of performance for at least one parameter and at least one sub parameter from amongst the plurality of parameters and the plurality of sub parameters respectively, based on a system dynamics model.

  • Patent number: 10387975
Abstract: Systems and methods for governing execution of a service provisioning engagement are described. In one implementation, the described methods are implemented in the systems, where the method includes determining a customized schema based on a viable systems model, where the customized schema is defined using a plurality of dimensions and a plurality of sub-dimensions, where the plurality of dimensions and the plurality of sub-dimensions is defined using a plurality of parameters. The method also includes determining a system dynamics model which defines relationship between the plurality of parameters of the customized schema. The method further includes setting targets for at least one parameter from amongst the plurality of parameters of the customized schema and simulating the at least one parameter interactively based on the system dynamics model.

  • Patent number: 9946987
Abstract: A system and method for selecting an optimal policy to be implemented in production support engagement. The system configures a knowledge base including plurality of policies, reference events, and reference scenarios. The plurality of policies is mapped with the plurality of reference scenarios and the plurality of reference events. The plurality of policies is defined in a plurality of layers in a manner that each policy corresponds to a particular layer of the plurality of layers. Relevant policies, out of the plurality of policies, may be selected based on an event received. Simulation may be performed on the relevant policies for identifying first candidate policy. The optimization may be performed on the relevant policies for identifying second candidate policy. The first and second candidate policy indicate the optimal policy to be implemented in the production support engagement.

  • Publication number: 20150106163
Abstract: Systems and methods for obtaining an optimal pricing strategy in a service engagement are disclosed. A model is created for the service engagement between a client and vendor. For the service engagement, a pricing strategy is selected. The pricing strategy is selected from one of a fixed strategy, a variable strategy and a combination thereof. Subsequent to selecting the pricing strategy, a client payoff associated with the client and a vendor payoff associated with the vendor are computed. The model is simulated to obtain a time series data. Based on the simulation, an optimal pricing strategy is obtained by calculating an optimizer payoff function. The optimizer payoff function is calculated by assigning relative weights to the client payoff and the vendor payoff. The optimal pricing strategy is obtained by altering the pricing strategy to maximize the optimizer payoff function.

  • Publication number: 20140122185
Abstract: Described is a method for engagement analytics. The method includes identifying criteria, and sub-criteria of each of the criteria, associated with a plurality of engagements between a vendor and a client, and identifying influencor sub-criteria and influencee sub-criteria amongst the sub-criteria. First levels of influence of the influencor sub-criteria of each of the criteria with respect to the influencee sub-criteria of each of the criteria; second levels of influence of the plurality of engagements with respect to the sub-criteria of all the criteria; and third levels of influence of the sub-criteria of all the criteria with respect to the engagements, are estimated. Further, a selection order of the plurality of engagements is determined based on the first, the second and third levels of influence. The selection order has priority values indicative of a level of realization of each of the engagements for the selection of the at least one engagement.
