  • Publication number: 20240094433
Abstract: An integrated autonomous operation system that holistically renders the operation in digital form at multiple scales, including reservoir, surface infrastructure, workflows, processes, and the real asset. The system provides an end-to-end digital twin connecting subsurface to production. A subsurface model identifies and monitors water-producing zones for strategic decisions. The models use intelligent AI to provide optimum water injection setpoints. The models provide data to systems that automatically control the chokes and valves to meet the setpoints, thus achieving fully integrated, autonomous operations.

  • Patent number: 11531760
Abstract: Technologies are described herein for providing a Baseboard Management Controller (“BMC”) -based security processor. The disclosed BMC-based security processor can provide a hardware Root of Trust (“RoT”) for a computing platform without the addition of specialized silicon to the platform and while minimizing the number of attack points. The disclosed BMC-based security processor can also provide functionality for securely filtering requests made on certain buses in a computing platform. Through implementations of the features identified briefly above, and others described herein, various technical benefits can be achieved such as, but not limited to, increased security as compared to previous computing systems that utilize a BMC to provide a hardware RoT and reduced complexity and cost as compared to previous computing systems that utilize a separate hardware device, such as a Field Programmable Gate Array (“FPGA”) or a microcontroller, to provide a hardware RoT.

  • Patent number: 10722164
Abstract: A system and method for detection and analysis of learner's/performers cognitive flow have been provided. The system is configured to measure the cognitive state of the performer, while they are performing tasks of various complexity levels, using physiological responses like brain activation, heart rate variability and galvanic skin response. The system uses a Bayesian network based framework to probabilistically evaluate the cognitive state of the learner from the difficulty levels of the tasks, IQ level of the learner and observations made using the physiological sensing. The system also measures the actual cognitive state using a questionnaire. The predicted cognitive state and the actual cognitive state is compared and based on the outcome of comparison a relevant step is taken.

  • Publication number: 20200163568
Abstract: Metacognitive confidence is defined as the confidence generated from the observation and critical analysis of one's own the decision making process. There are various studies indicative of the importance of measurement of confidence level of the person while doing a task. The existing confidence level measurement methods provide various limitations such invasive and complex experimental setup, noise and artifacts in the signal. A system and method for determining confidence level of a person using electroencephalogram has been provided. The system is configured to build a metric to determine the amount of metacognitive confidence, in presence of different cognitive load condition, directly from brain activity using electroencephalogram signals. The brain activity acquired from the frontal and temporal part of the brain at different frequency bands and combined with suitable weights to form the confidence metric.

  • Publication number: 20200135325
Abstract: This disclosure relates to analyzing effect of a secondary cognitive load task on a primary executive task. Human random sequence generation is a marker to study cognitive functions and inability to generate random sequences (RS) can reveal underlying impairments. Traditionally, ‘call out’ or ‘write down’ procedures are used to obtain human generated numbers, wherein short term memory and number of previously generated entities visible to a subject plays a major role. Also precise trial-wise or response-wise analysis may not be possible. In the present disclosure, the human generated random numbers are digitized into RS and a cognitive load (CL) inducing task is imposed on the executive task. The CL demanding task disrupts randomization performance. Deviation from randomness, load index based on gaze data and deviation from pupillometry data of healthy subjects are provided as indicators of an interference effect imposed by the CL and thereby indicative of underlying impairments.

  • Patent number: 10033396
Abstract: In an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) having storage capacitors, active, top-plate, n-type, switch circuitry has an n-type transistor and gate-voltage control circuitry that generates the gate voltage to turn on and off the transistor. The control circuitry turns off the transistor by generating the gate voltage at a level that limits the gate-to-source voltage difference, thereby limiting GISL leakage current through the transistor that can otherwise jeopardize the accuracy of the ADC digital output value. In one implementation, when the transistor is to be off (for example, during the ADC conversion phase), the control circuitry generates the gate voltage to be at ground if the source voltage is below a reference voltage, and above ground if the source voltage is above the reference voltage. The switch circuitry can also be implemented using a p-type device or a transmission gate instead of the n-type device.

  • Patent number: 9673831
Abstract: In an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) having storage capacitors, passive top-plate switch circuitry has at least one diode-configured transistor connected between a first transistor and the top-plate node of the storage capacitors to provide a diode-voltage drop that ensures that the voltage at the node between two transistors is different from the top-plate node voltage in order to reduce GIDL/GISL leakage current through the first transistor that could adversely affect the ADC's digital output value. A corresponding capacitor is connected across each diode-configured device to reduce the amount of charge needed to achieve intermediate-node, steady-state voltages when the switch circuitry is off. In an n-type implementation, a reverse-diode-biased isolation device is connected between the top-plate node and the at least one diode-configured device to prevent the top-plate node from seeing the large dynamic junction capacitance of the at least one diode-configured device.

  • Patent number: 9051825
Abstract: In visualizing flow in subsurface reservoirs, a system partitions flow information according to source-sink pairs and streamlines in a reservoir. The system displays dynamic streamline flow indicators and flow animations, such as 3D pie charts, to dynamically show flow contributions and properties at each well. A pie chart displayed at a producer well may have pie wedges that dynamically update to show the percentage of fluid being received via streamlines from each of multiple injectors. Highlighting the chart highlights all wells contributing to the output. Radial sections of each pie wedge may be further mapped to show the flow rate of components, such as oil, water, and gas phases in a streamline. Each chart may show many other properties and may be stacked across time steps. The system also displays streamline properties with animations, which demonstrate flow velocity and model properties, such as phase components, rates, volumes, etc., through color and size codes.
