  • Publication number: 20190260155
Abstract: A connector assembly for a modular medical device is described herein. The connector assembly includes a main body, a printed circuit board, a frame, an elastomeric sealing structure, and a plurality of contacts. The printed circuit is disposed in the main body and has a plurality of electrical contacts. The frame is configured to be attached to the main body and includes a central opening. The elastomeric sealing structure is disposed in the central opening. The plurality of contacts are each sealingly disposed in the elastomeric sealing structure, each arranged in contact with a corresponding one of the electrical contacts on the printed circuit, and each movable upon deformation of the elastomeric sealing structure.

  • Patent number: 10293102
Abstract: Pump cassettes, infusion systems, and methods are described. An example pump cassette may include a rigid body comprising a frame portion, a base portion, a compliant membrane disposed substantially therebetween, and two opposing longitudinal edge sections. The rigid body may include a controllable fluid pathway defined in part by the compliant membrane and extending from an inlet port to an outlet port. The pump cassette may include a piston disposed at least partially within the rigid body such that movement of the piston varies a volume of a pump chamber defined within the controllable fluid pathway.

  • Patent number: 10238790
Abstract: A syringe adapter for holding various sizes of syringes. A syringe includes a tip, a barrel, a plunger, a flange, and a syringe axis extending from the tip to the plunger. An example syringe holder attaches to a fluid delivery system and includes a syringe clamp. The syringe holder holds a syringe stationary in the syringe clamp. The syringe clamp is offset from the fluid delivery system such that the syringe, or connections to the syringe, does not interfere with other components of the fluid delivery system. The syringe holder may include a support bar, which the syringe clamp can slide along. Alternatively, the syringe clamp may be rotatable.
