  • Patent number: 8954918
Abstract: Roughly described, a scan-based test architecture is optimized in dependence upon the circuit design under consideration. In one embodiment, a plurality of candidate test designs are developed. For each, a plurality of test vectors are generated in dependence upon the circuit design and the candidate test design, preferably using the same ATPG algorithm that will be used downstream to generate the final test vectors for the production integrated circuit device. A test protocol quality measure such as fault coverage is determined for each of the candidate test designs, and one of the candidate test designs is selected for implementation in an integrated circuit device in dependence upon a comparison of such test protocol quality measures. Preferably, only a sampling of the full set of test vectors that ATPG could generate, is used to determine the number of potential faults that would be found by each particular candidate test design.

  • Publication number: 20140304672
Abstract: A core circuit that can be connected in a hierarchical manner, and configured to test a multiple circuits is disclosed. The core circuit includes at least one real input for receiving scan-in data for controlling operation of the core circuit. The core circuit further includes an input register coupled to the at least one real input and configured to store data. The core circuit further includes at least one scan chain coupled a subset if registers of the register chain and configured to generate scan-out data representing the presence of faults in an circuit. Furthermore, the core circuit includes at least one control pseudo-output coupled to the input register and configured to route at least a subset of the data to another register chain in the core circuit or to another core circuit.

  • Patent number: 8809278
Abstract: Cyclic tetrapeptides that are kappa opioid receptor (KOR) antagonists can be used in therapeutic applications for treating, inhibiting, and/or preventing drug addiction, drug use, or drug seeking behavior in a subject. This can include subjects that have a history of drug addiction. The drug can be selected from cocaine, alcohol, amphetamines, methamphetamines, nicotine, opiate, or combinations thereof. These cyclic tetrapeptides can also be useful for treating, inhibiting, and/or preventing stress-induced drug seeking behavior.

  • Patent number: 8751668
Abstract: Protocols for facilitating a peer-to-peer real time network in which network state information and data processing is delegated to user nodes. A virtual space is recursively divided into a plurality of sub-regions represented by a logical tree, with responsibility for leaf nodes delegated to multiple user nodes. A distributed hash table can be used to store leaf node state and identity information. A discovery index protocol is provided for user nodes to effectively identify a user node responsible for a sub-region of interest. Further, a semantic filtering protocol limits communications primarily to other user nodes deemed relevant, so as to constrain bandwidth usage. A broadcast control protocol is provided to increase the number of simultaneous interactions for each user node. A security protocol is also provided to prevent any illegal activity by malicious nodes.

  • Publication number: 20120197997
Abstract: The present invention relates to the provision of interest management in peer-to-peer networks that provide a virtual environment for multiple users. One example of such an environment is an online gaming environment. The invention includes a switching algorithm (FIG. 9) that efficiently switches (902) the interest management provided by a peer to an entity between three protocols (cell, interest bounded and gossip) in response to the processing load on the relevant peer. This makes the interest management service scalable and reliable. The gossip protocol (FIG. 8) sends interest management information to the neighbours of the an entity, and also reduces the frequency of sending requests for interest management information to an interest management service for that entity.

  • Publication number: 20060202983
Abstract: A method for generating matched contour profiles includes the steps of trimming or extending an input wire to create a modified input wire and slicing a solid part in the plane of the modified input wire to create an intersection wire. The method also includes the steps of imprinting the modified input wire and the intersection wire on a disk to create one or more faces of interest, determining which faces of interest constitute matched contour faces, and extracting edges of an identified matched contour face to create a closed wire. Matched contour profiles enable solid modeling programs to generate solid models that are less prone to failure because the matched contour profile automatically adapts to changes in the shape of the solid model.
