Abstract: There is provided a power source input circuit capable of suppressing an oscillation phenomenon of an input current without any trouble. The power source input circuit includes a current detection resistor 21 which detects a current on the basis of a voltage generated thereacross, and a transistor Q3 whose collector is connected to a gate of a power switching element Q2. The transistor Q3 changes the voltage of a base thereof according to the voltage generated across the current detection resistor 21 and adjusts the voltage of the gate of the power switching element Q2 to allow a constant current operation to be performed. Further, a capacitor 28 is connected between the base and collector of the transistor Q3.

Abstract: A communication apparatus comprising a communication module that serves as Data Circuit-terminating Equipment used in a radio packet communication network; an auxiliary circuit board on which said communication module is mounted; a main circuit board on which a communication controller is mounted; and a signal line for connecting said main circuit board to the auxiliary circuit board detachably; wherein said main circuit board further comprises a detecting means for detecting a type of the connected communication module based on a pattern of a signal status on the signal line at a start-up, and said communication controller performs a communication control operation in accordance with a result of detection by the detecting means.

Abstract: A connection adapter is disposed intervening between a communication module for connection to a radio packet communication network and high-level equipment. The connection adapter comprises a connection controller for controlling connection between the high-level equipment and the radio packet communication network, and a communication controller for relaying the communication by the high-level equipment using the communication module. When the communication controller of the connection adapter detects duplication of a TCP packet received from the high-level equipment, the communication controller discards the duplicated packet.

Abstract: An ice shaver for a beverage dispenser for charging solid granular ice into cups and shaving granular ice and charging it into cups. An ice charging port opening arranged to expose the part of one end surface of the impeller in the direction of the impeller central axis including the spindle allows granular ice to be charged into the ice shaver body while being agitated by the impeller ameliorate clogging of the bottom end side of the introduction pipe. Also, because the impeller is rotated at a low speed in discharging granular ice, the discharge speed of the ice is reduced, reducing scattering of beverage already in the cup. Furthermore, when an overload occurs in a motor due to the impeller locking caused by clogging with granular ice, driving of the impeller is stopped. Therefore, the motor and a motor drive section are protected from damage due to over current and heating.

Abstract: Provided is an ice shaver for a beverage dispenser which can charge granular ice in solid form into cups and which can also shave granular ice and charge the shaved ice into cups. Because an opening of an ice charging port is arranged in a position which expose the part of one end surface of the impeller in the direction of the central axis of impeller including the spindle, granular ice can be charged into the ice shaver body while being agitated by the impeller at the ice charging port, and this provides that advantage that the irregularity that clogging with granular ice occurs on the bottom end side of the introduction pipe can be prevented. Also, because the impeller is rotated at a low speed in discharging granular ice from the ice shaver body, it is possible to reduce the discharge speed of the granular ice which is discharged from the ice shaver body and hence it is possible to prevent the scattering of a beverage in discharging granular ice into a cup.
