  • Publication number: 20230111598
Abstract: Provided is a resin composition for molding containing a polyarylene sulfide resin that forms a molded body having all of mechanical strength, heat cycle characteristics, and thermal conductivity in a well-balanced manner. Specifically, provided are a resin composition for molding containing a plate-like filler having an aspect ratio of 10 to 500 (A), a polyarylene sulfide resin (B), a thermoplastic resin having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 20° C. or lower (C), and glass fibers (D) as essential components, the plate-like filler (A) being contained in an amount of 30 to 70 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the sum of the plate-like filler (A), the polyarylene sulfide resin (B), the thermoplastic resin (C), and the glass fibers (D), and a molded body of the resin composition for molding.

  • Patent number: 11312823
Abstract: Provided is a method for producing a polyarylene sulfide resin, the method including subjecting a dihaloaromatic compound and a sulfidizing agent to a polymerization reaction in the presence of an aliphatic cyclic compound having a ring openable by hydrolysis, in which corrosion of a production apparatus is suppressed. More particularly, provided is a method for producing a polyarylene sulfide resin, the method including a dehydration step (1) in which a water-containing sulfidizing agent and an aliphatic cyclic compound having a ring openable by hydrolysis are heated in the presence of a dihaloaromatic compound to a liquid temperature in the range of 90° C. or higher and 170° C. or lower under the atmospheric pressure, and then dehydration is performed while maintaining the liquid temperature and reducing the pressure to a pressure in the range of 30 [kPa abs] or higher and 80 [kPa abs] or lower to thus obtain a mixture.

  • Publication number: 20180134852
Abstract: There is provided a polyarylene sulfide dispersion coated with a cationic group-containing organic polymer compound and having high dispersion stability and excellent adhesion or adhesiveness to any one of substrates of plastic, metals, glass, and the like even at a high polyarylene sulfide resin concentration. The object is solved by providing a polyarylene sulfide dispersion including polyarylene sulfide particles, which are coated with a cationic group-containing organic polymer compound by a base precipitation method and thus exhibit high stability even at a high concentration, and also providing powder particles (fine particles) produced from the dispersion.
