  • Publication number: 20070048373
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of producing a dried wet granulate having a desirable average particle size and particle size distribution and dosage forms made from that granulate.
    Type: Application
    Filed: August 21, 2006
    Publication date: March 1, 2007
    Applicant: CIMA LABS INC.

  • Patent number: 6971377
Abstract: An EGR cooler comprises a cooling core having a plurality of passages for accommodating the flow of exhaust gas therethrough, an exhaust gas inlet chamber connected to the cooling core, for receiving exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine and passing the exhaust gas to the cooling core, and an exhaust gas outlet chamber separate from the exhaust gas inlet chamber and connected to the cooling core for receiving exhaust gas from the core. The cooler further includes means for permitting the controlled passage of exhaust gas from the exhaust gas inlet chamber to the exhaust gas outlet chamber without passing through the cooling core, said means being positioned upstream from the exhaust gas outlet chamber. Configured in this manner, the EGR cooler permits the mixing of cooled exhaust gas with uncooled exhaust to provide a desired exiting gas temperature that is below an exhaust gas dew point.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 15, 2003
Date of Patent: December 6, 2005
    Assignee: Honeywell International, Inc.
Inventors: Michael A. Moyer, Glenn F. Thompson, Roland Dilley, Kristian Dullack, Sara Chastain, Freidoon Rastegar
  • Publication number: 20050111998
Abstract: An exemplary compressor wheel includes a proximate end, a distal end, an axis of rotation, a z-plane positioned between the proximate end and the distal end, and a joint having an axis coincident with the axis of rotation and an end surface positioned between the z-plane and the distal end. Other exemplary joints, compressor wheels, chambers, systems and/or methods are also disclosed.
