Abstract: This invention belongs to the field of chemistry and metallurgy and it is specifically related to a process for the electrolytic and electrophoretic production of electrochemical coatings with a bath from trivalent decorative chromium solutions on a metal or plastic substrate with trivalent chromium ions, sulfate ions, graphite anodes, hexavalent chromium control and false cathode purifications in a continuous industrial operation.
