    Abstract: The present invention relates to a laundry composition for the removal of stains, which comprises at least one bleaching agent, at least one bleach activator, and a dye transfer inhibitor system comprising a copolymer of 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone and 1-vinylim-idazole, and a homopolymer of 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone: wherein the weight ratio between the copolymer of 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone and 1-vinylimidazole and the homopolymer of 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone is of between 1:1 to 5:1. It also relates to a method of washing a garment using the laundry composition and to the use of the laundry composition for the removal of stains from a garment and dye transfer reduction or inhibition from a garment.
