  • Publication number: 20240034992
Abstract: The present disclosure provides iPSC-derived dopaminergic neurons comprised disease-associated mutations. Further provided herein are methods for using the iPSC-derived dopaminergic neurons for the study of neuroinflammation, such as to identify novel targets, biomarkers, and therapeutic agents for the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. Further provided herein are assays for studying neuroinflammation using the present cell culture models.

  • Publication number: 20220134296
Abstract: Described herein is a method for producing a sealant. The method includes mixing a first material with a second material at a manufacturing site to produce the sealant. The method also includes applying x-ray energy to the sealant at the manufacturing site. The method includes measuring an amount of fluorescence emitted from the sealant in response to applying the x-ray energy. The method also includes calculating a mix ratio of the first and second materials of the sealant based on the amount of fluorescence. The method includes determining whether the mix ratio is within a predetermined mix ratio range.
    Type: Application
    Filed: January 11, 2022
    Publication date: May 5, 2022
Inventors: Jeffrey Erickson, Sarah Dickerson, Nelson N. Akwari, John DeForest
