  • Patent number: 11401925
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and a method for compressing a working medium, comprising: compressing a drive medium in a compressor; moving a drive piston within a first cylinder by means of the compressed drive medium; moving a high-pressure piston, which compresses the working medium, within a second cylinder by means of the drive piston; and transferring heat from the compressed working medium to the compressed drive medium before the compressed drive medium enters the first cylinder of the drive piston.

  • Publication number: 20210041334
Abstract: The invention relates to a test apparatus and a method for testing a load change of a compressed-gas accumulator, said method comprising the steps of: i. arranging the compressed-gas accumulator to be tested inside a test container; ii. increasing the pressure of a compressed gas in the compressed-gas accumulator to a test pressure; iii. measuring the elastic deformation of the compressed-gas accumulator, which is caused by the test pressure of the compressed gas; iv. Increasing the pressure of a pressure medium in the test container such that the elastic deformation of the compressed-gas accumulator is reduced by the pressure of the pressure medium on the compressed-gas accumulator; v. lowering the pressure of the pressure medium in the test container; and vi. repeating steps iii. to v.

  • Publication number: 20200132254
Abstract: A system for producing and dispensing pressurized hydrogen includes: a hydrogen generator, in particular an electrolyser, a hydraulic drive, two or more hydrogen storage tanks, and a hydrogen dispensing unit, wherein each of the hydrogen storage tanks is capable of discharging hydrogen at a constant pressure by movement of an internal piston, wherein at least one of the hydrogen storage tanks is arranged to act as compressor by actuation of the internal piston by the hydraulic drive, and wherein at least one of the hydrogen storage tanks is arranged to act as a constant pressure tank for storing and discharging hydrogen at a constant pressure.

  • Publication number: 20190211973
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and to a device for determining an amount of gaseous fuel, which during a refueling process at a gas station has been transferred into a storage tank via a gas pump (3) and a filling hose (4) connected thereto, wherein in the gas pump (3) of the gas station, a flow meter (F) is provided, which during the filling of the storage tank detects the amount of fuel dispensed. Once the filling is completed, the filling hose (4) is depressurized, and the amount of fuel, which has not been transferred into the storage tank due to the depressurization, is detected, and this amount is subtracted from the amount detected by the flow meter (F).
