  • Publication number: 20240141561
Abstract: The invention relates to a cleaning device for a yarn forming element of an air-spinning nozzle, to a spinning position of an air-spinning machine and to a method for cleaning a yarn forming element of this type. In order to provide a spinning position of an air-spinning machine and a method for cleaning a yarn forming element of an air-spinning machine which allow long and trouble-free operation with constant quality and strength of the yarn produced, it is provided that the cleaning device has a cleaning strip and a storage unit for providing and retracting the cleaning strip, a fixed end of the cleaning strip being fastened to the storage unit, and a free end of the cleaning strip being able to be provided for cleaning and retracted again after the cleaning. Furthermore, the cleaning device has a cleaning strip guide for feeding the free end of the cleaning strip to the yarn forming element of the air-spinning nozzle for mechanical cleaning.

  • Patent number: 11834759
Abstract: A spinning position of an air-spinning machine and method of cleaning a yarn forming element of an air spinning nozzle are provided. The spinning position has an air spinning nozzle with a yarn forming element arranged within a vortex chamber for producing a yarn from a fibre band supplied to the air spinning nozzle, in which case the air spinning nozzle can be transferred from a closed state for yarn formation to an open state in which the yarn forming element can be cleaned. At least one cleaning nozzle for cleaning the yarn forming element in the open state of the air spinning nozzle is arranged at the spinning position, the cleaning nozzle being positioned and/or aligned or positionable and/or alignable, such that, at least in the open state of the air spinning nozzle, the yarn forming element can have a cleaning medium applied to it through the cleaning nozzle.

  • Publication number: 20220396900
Abstract: A top apron cradle for an apron drafting system of a textile machine with an apron guide unit for circumferentially guiding a top apron looped around a top roller of the apron drafting system. The apron guide unit has an apron guide section for guiding the top apron, the apron guide section having an entrance section and a deflection section. The apron guide unit has a receptacle, which is assigned to the entrance section, for a replaceable tensioning element which can be brought into pressure contact with an inner side of the top apron, and the tensioning element. For guiding the top apron via the tensioning element and the deflection section, the receptacle and the tensioning element replaceably accommodated in the receptacle are formed at a distance from the area of the apron guide section enclosed by the tensioning element and the deflection section.
