A file wrapper is generated with data indicating locations of the gift message file and the digital media file, which enables the third-party platform to selectively execute the customized gift message file and the digital media file. Alternatively, the initial data and request may be provided from a first platform, wherein an identifier is generated and transmitted to the first platform.
