  • Publication number: 20080131977
Abstract: A lateral flow device, and related systems and methods is disclosed. A method of building a lateral flow immunoassay device includes dispensing, via a fluid ejection device, a flow-inducing substance to form a flow membrane, and dispensing, via the fluid ejection device, a measured volume of biosubstances from an array of biosubstances to form a sample module, a tagging module, a reaction module, and a waste module on the membrane.

  • Publication number: 20060246574
Abstract: A dispenser for building a lateral flow immunoassay device comprises a fluid supply assembly and a jetting assembly. The fluid supply assembly comprises an antibody component including a plurality of reservoirs to supply at least one of member of a group comprising a species array of at least one species-specific antibody material, an anti-species array of at least one first anti-species antibody material, and a label-antibody array of at least one of a tag material and a second anti-species antibody material. The jetting assembly is in communication with the fluid supply assembly to enable dispensing the materials of the species array, the anti-species array, and the label-antibody array from the supply assembly onto a substrate.
