    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a system for determining a position of a vehicle includes an image sensor, a top-down view component, a comparison component, and a location component. The image sensor obtains an image of an environment near a vehicle. The top-down view component is configured to generate a top-down view of a ground surface based on the image of the environment. The comparison component is configured to compare the top-down image with a map, the map comprising a top-down light LIDAR intensity map or a vector-based semantic map. The location component is configured to determine a location of the vehicle on the map based on the comparison.

Grab rings mounted in the openings have inner diameters containing teeth with crests defining a superimposed inner diameter. The teeth of the grab rings deflect and frictionally engage the outer diameter of the wires to retain them in the openings. A sleeve of insulation material covers an exterior of the conductor member. The sleeve has ends that protrude past the openings and receive an insulation layer of the wires. Resilient electrical contact members are recessed from the grab rings in the openings. The electrical contact members have inner portions biased into contact with the electrical wires and outer portions biased into contact with the conductor member.

    Abstract: A temperature sensor has a heat-sensitive element contained within a chamber, the heat-sensitive element changing from a first configuration to a second configuration at a predetermined temperature, and a biased member biased towards the chamber. The biased member initially is prevented from entering the chamber when the heat-sensitive element is in the first configuration and enters the chamber when the heat-sensitive element is in the second configuration. In some aspects, the first configuration is solid and the second configuration is liquid and a selectively permeable element is provided to allow the heat-sensitive element to exit the chamber in the liquid configuration. An indicator can be provided that has a plurality of feet initially held in a retained configuration by the biased member until the biased member enters the chamber to release the feet for sliding motion of the indicator.
