  • Publication number: 20110257045
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for isolating DNA from individual plaques of peptide-presenting bacteriophages in a high-throughput capacity PCR, wherein the PCR products obtained are sequenceable and a specimen of each phage studied is retained in a replicable state. The PCR is successful despite the presence of inhibitory constituents from the growth medium or the host bacteria.

  • Publication number: 20110009268
Abstract: The novel process for coacervating iodopropargyl compounds affords stable aqueous dispersions of coacervated iodopropargyl compounds which, optionally in a mixture with further active biocidal ingredients, can be used very effectively to protect technical materials.

  • Publication number: 20100285136
Abstract: The present invention concerns a system, comprising bacteriophages and particles comprising active agents, in which a first additional peptide is fused to proteins of the bacteriophage, the first additional peptide adheres to the surface of the particle and furthermore a second additional peptide is fused to proteins of the bacteriophage. The second additional peptide can adhere on substrate surfaces. The present invention furthermore concerns the use of the system for delayed release of active agents and also a method for production of the system. The present invention furthermore concerns a method for the selection of phage species from a combinatorial phage population.
