  • Publication number: 20240060279
Abstract: The invention relates to a hydrant valve system (12), comprising: a hydrant main valve (14), which has a main valve body (16) and a valve seat (18), wherein the main valve body (16) can be moved axially in relation to the valve seat (18); and a housing (19), which defines a clearance volume (20) into which the main valve body (16) can be moved. The hydrant valve system (12) also comprises a sealing body (24), which is provided in the clearance volume (20), wherein the sealing body (24) has a higher density than water.

  • Publication number: 20240052609
Abstract: A hydrant has a riser pipe and a main valve. The main valve comprises a main valve body, a sealing seat which can be sealed with respect to the main valve body, a valve rod connected at one end to the main valve body, and a spindle arrangement. The spindle arrangement contains a journal/journal support arrangement, comprising at least one journal and at least one journal support arrangement, wherein the journal support arrangement has a first support and a second support against each of which the journal can be brought into contact.

  • Patent number: 10865549
Abstract: A hydrant has a riser pipe and a shut-off element which can be brought from at least one open position into at least one closed position and vice versa. The shut-off element in the closed position seals the interior of the riser pipe from a hydrant inlet. The hydrant comprises at least one first passage, by which the interior can be fluidically connected to the outside of the hydrant, and one second passage, by which the pressurized hydrant inlet can be fluidically connected to the outside of the hydrant, wherein the first passage and the second passage can be brought into operative connection with each other. The operative connection produces a vacuum by water flowing through the second passage such that water in the interior of the riser pipe is led away via the first passage and the riser pipe is thereby drained.

  • Patent number: 10787798
Abstract: A shut-off element of a hydrant with a hydrant axis. The shut-off element has a valve stem that is axially movable substantially along the hydrant axis, and a main valve body that can be brought into sealing contact with a sealing surface of the hydrant. The shut-off element has a damping system that is inserted between the main valve body and the valve stem or in a section of the valve stem or between an actuating element of the valve stem and the valve stem or in the actuating element itself, so that the main valve body is coupled to the valve stem axially dampened by the damping system along the hydrant axis.
