Publication number: 20240135037Abstract: Embodiments integrate with an authorization service (e.g., OAUTH) to implement document protection. In response to a document scheduling request, a protection engine reads a protection policy including a sensitivity label, from the authorization service. The protection engine encrypts content of the document, and stores the document including the encrypted content and a header, in a non-transitory computer readable storage medium (e.g., a database). At a conclusion of the document scheduling phase, the protection engine may send a status (e.g., successful; failed) of the document scheduling. Next, in response to receiving a subsequent document view request, the protection engine references the header to communicate with the authorization service. The protection engine decrypts the content based upon information received from the authorization service, and provides the document including decrypted content for viewing.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 20, 2022Publication date: April 25, 2024Inventors: Ramachandra Mahapatra, Sateesh Babu Chilamakuri

Publication number: 20230179599Abstract: Systems and processes for managing authorizations for multiple vendors at an enterprise service are provided. Responsive to a request to onboard an authorization for access to data resources of a targeted vendor, a central management server may receive, from an authorization server for the targeted vendor, authorization information. The authorization information may be received indirectly, via a security token service. An authorization reference object may be generated to store the authorization information, and the authorization reference object may be stored in a database. Subsequent requests for access to the data resources of the targeted vendor may be serviced using the authorization reference object stored in the database.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 31, 2022Publication date: June 8, 2023Applicant: SAP SEInventors: Anita Kumari Swain, Sateesh Babu Chilamakuri

Patent number: 11645137Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes feeding exception log entries from a plurality of exception logs associated with respective heterogenous computing components into an aggregated exception log comprising aggregated exception log entries, mapping an aggregated exception log entry in the aggregated exception log to a corresponding exception identifier, identifying a descriptor describing an exception condition based on the exception identifier, determining one or more destinations corresponding to the aggregated exception log entry, and routing a notification comprising the descriptor to the one or more destinations.Type: GrantFiled: April 29, 2021Date of Patent: May 9, 2023Assignee: SAP SEInventors: Sateesh Babu Chilamakuri, Sathya G

Patent number: 11539534Abstract: An analytics platform or another system is provided to store multiple sets of credentials and other connection information in each user profile and to map the stored credentials to different resources within the platform. Each set of credentials can be associated with a credential mapping key, and each resource in the platform can be mapped to the credentials using a connection associating the resource with the credential mapping key. By mapping multiple sets of credentials and other connection information to the resources within the platform, the user profile can be transparently authenticated when accessing resources in the platform, different credentials can be used to authenticate the user profile with accessing different resources, and administrators can benefit by having greater control over permissions with the platform.Type: GrantFiled: August 20, 2020Date of Patent: December 27, 2022Assignee: SAP SEInventors: Sateesh Babu Chilamakuri, Loic de l'Eprevier

Publication number: 20220311620Abstract: In an example embodiment, a framework is provided that provides a secure mechanism to limit misuse of licensed applications. Specifically, a mutual handshake is established, using existing properties of a requesting application, and wraps objects with dynamic parameters, such as a current timestamp, to perform masking, hashing, and encryption for the handshake.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 11, 2021Publication date: September 29, 2022Inventors: Rajib Kumar Saha, Sateesh Babu Chilamakuri, Laurent Pelecq

Patent number: 11321198Abstract: Techniques and solutions are described for detecting event server failure and taking one or more actions in response to such detection. A plurality of events are registered with a first event server. If it is determined that the first event server is not operational, a notification can be provided, such as to a user through an administrator console. At least a portion of the events can be sent to a second event server for processing. In some cases, events that are sent to the second event server for processing can have summary records updated to remap or re-register the events with the second event server. In other cases, the events sent to the second event server do not have their summary records remapped or registered with the second event server.Type: GrantFiled: July 21, 2020Date of Patent: May 3, 2022Assignee: SAP SEInventors: Sateesh Babu Chilamakuri, Ramya Nandakumaran

Publication number: 20220076464Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer media for visualizing data are provided herein. The described examples allow multiple data visualizations generated using multiple visualization tools to be displayed in response to a single data visualization request generated using a single visualization tool. A data visualization request can specify data for inclusion in a data visualization and properties for the visualization. Features can be extracted from the request and converted to corresponding features for other visualization tools. Both the visualization tool through which the request was generated and the other visualization tools can generate data visualizations for display.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 9, 2020Publication date: March 10, 2022Applicant: SAP SEInventors: Sateesh Babu Chilamakuri, Sathya G, Ramachandra Mahapatra
