  • Patent number: 12198157
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices to support techniques for dynamically and securely managing user rewards are described. A system may issue digital assets that include a user-specific code to a user, and the system may store the digital assets on a distributed ledger (e.g., in a digital wallet associated with the user). The system may issue one or more digital assets to the user in response to determining that the user has performed one or more actions corresponding to the one or more digital assets. In some examples, each digital asset may include a same user-specific code, such as a quick response (QR) code, embedded in a respective image associated with each digital asset. The user may present an owned digital asset to a third-party vendor, and the third-party vendor may scan the user-specific code associated with the digital asset to identify and provide rewards available to the user.

  • Patent number: 12182248
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described. A virtual environment may perform a multi-step authentication process to verify identities of both a user and a representative of an organization interacting within the virtual environment. Within the virtual environment, the representative may perform a first verification process to verify the identity of the user and the representative by validating the user's account information and an identifier of the representative against a distributed ledger. Upon success of the first verification process, the representative may initiate a second verification process. As part of the second verification process, the distributed ledger may provide one or more questions posed to the user by the representative, which may be answered within the virtual environment, external to the virtual environment, or both. Upon the user successfully answering the one or more questions, the virtual environment may display an indication that the user and the representative are verified.

  • Publication number: 20230004966
Abstract: A proof-of-payment system that allows smart connected devices to confirm a payment information. In one example, a smart connected device that comprises a computing device and program instructions. The program instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the computing device to at least retrieve an encrypted proof-of-payment (PoP) payload from a blockchain and decrypt the encrypted PoP payload to retrieve a first identifier from the encrypted PoP payload. The first identifier from the decrypted PoP payload is matched to a second identifier presented at the smart connected device. An action is triggered in response to the first identifier from the encrypted PoP payload matching the second identifier presented at the smart connected device.

  • Patent number: 11468439
Abstract: A proof-of-payment system may receive a payment confirmation including a transaction amount and a merchant identifier. The system may select a record from a registration repository by matching the merchant identifier to the record. The record may have a public key associated with the merchant identifier via a registration process, for example. The system may also generate a proof-of-payment payload comprising an identifier and a payment amount, and encrypt the proof-of-payment payload using the public key. The system may write the encrypted proof-of-payment payload to a blockchain maintained on a first blockchain node.
