  • Patent number: 10502784
Abstract: A scan chain collects scan chain data from testing of a functional circuit and outputs a scan chain signal containing the scan chain data. A voltage monitor circuit operates to compare a supply voltage against a threshold and assert a reset signal when the supply voltage crosses the threshold. The reset signal resets a flip flop circuit whose output signal controls operation of a logic circuit that blocks passage of the scan chain signal to an integrated circuit probe pad and instead applies a constant logic signal to the probe pad indicating a voltage monitoring error.

  • Publication number: 20170259481
Abstract: A hot runner injection molding apparatus includes a hot runner nozzle and a first heater coupled to the nozzle body of the nozzle. A separate mold gate insert surrounds a nozzle tip area of the nozzle. The mold gate insert is heated by a second heater that is separate and independent from the nozzle body heater. The temperature generated by the first and second heaters is measured by a first thermocouple and a second thermocouple, respectively. A controller is used to adjust at any time the temperature of the first and second heaters independently. The second heater is used to either i) melt, and thus enable a faster removal of, a colder molten material accumulated around the nozzle tip during a color change procedure or ii) to reduce or increase the temperature of the nozzle tip differently from one nozzle to the next.

  • Patent number: 9685174
Abstract: A system that monitors and assesses the moods of subjects with neurological disorders, like bipolar disorder, by analyzing normal conversational speech to identify speech data that is then analyzed through an automated speech data classifier. The classifier may be based on a vector, separator, hyperplane, decision boundary, or other set of rules to classify one or more mood states of a subject. The system classifier is used to assess current mood state, predicted instability, and/or a change in future mood state, in particular for subjects with bipolar disorder.

  • Publication number: 20160203290
Abstract: A method and system may provide automated messages to a patient to increase the likelihood that the patient adheres to a medication regimen. A reinforcement learning engine determines the patient's barriers to adherence and transmits messages generated to address those barriers. The reinforcement learning engine constantly receives feedback from the patient and adjusts the messages that are transmitted to the patient, for example, when the patient's barrier to adherence changes, when the patient incorrectly identifies his barrier to adherence, and/or when the patient becomes desensitized to receiving the same message over and over again.

  • Patent number: 9222974
Abstract: A system and method for testing an integrated circuit using methodologies to reduce voltage drop during ATPG and LBIST testing. In one embodiment, delay elements may be added to a clock circuit used to generate the various clock signals that trigger the switching of the various electronic components. In another embodiment, logic circuitry may be added to a clock generation circuit to isolate clock domains in order to enable a clock signal in each clock domain in a specific pattern. In yet another embodiment, capture phases for LBIST testing may be made to be asynchrounous within each capture phase, such that data capture for one LBIST partition may be timed different from other capture phases for other LBIST partitions. Finally, a further embodiment ATPG circuitry may also be partitioned such that logic circuitry only enables one (or less than all) ATPG partition at a time.
