  • Patent number: 9641503
Abstract: A global endpoint may be associated with an organization name and a plurality of directories located in different geographic regions. The global endpoint may be a computing system that hosts a page used by users to access an application or service. A user may be able to access the application or service using already existing credentials. For example, the user may access the application or service using credentials stored and maintained by an entity with which the user is affiliated. Users having credentials stored in different geographic regions may be able to access the application or service via the same global endpoint.

  • Patent number: 9596233
Abstract: A user, group, and device management and authentication system allows administrators to manage one or more directories with devices that are not associated with a domain of the one or more directories via a set of APIs. The system also allows applications and services that do not have direct access to a list of directory users to access the one or more directories. The user, group, and device management and authentication system may be an add-on system that works in conjunction with a centrally-managed directory service to provide such functionality. For example, the system may generate an access token associated with a particular directory that can be used by a service accessed by an administrator to call an API provided by the system. The API call may be translated into a directory-specific API call that can be used to perform an action in the particular directory.

Abstract: A chromic luminescent composition and method for fabricating the composition are disclosed. The chromic luminescent composition comprises at least one or more non-luminescent materials and one or more luminescent materials. The one or more non-luminescent materials having absorption spectra that at least partially overlap with the spectrum of incident electromagnetic radiation. The one or more luminescent materials convert at least a portion of energy of incident electromagnetic radiation to a lower energy wavelength. The one or more non-luminescent materials and the one or more luminescent materials are selected such that, when subsequently exposed to incident electromagnetic radiation, color and brightness are substantially modulated through absorption and emission as a function of incident electromagnetic radiation. • Publication number: 20160313549
Abstract: A covert information viewing system converts visible light to infrared wavelengths that can be transmitted for detection by an infrared-sensitive detector, such as night vision goggles, without detection by the human eye. The system includes a visible light information source emitting radiation as visible light, and a covert covering including an energy converting layer for absorbing the visible light emitted from the visible light information source and converting the visible light to infrared wavelengths, and a light blocking layer capable of absorbing unconverted visible light and transmitting infrared wavelengths. The covert covering is attached to the visible light information source and oriented to cover visible light emitted from the visible light information source, but it is also easily removed from the visible light information source.

  • Patent number: 9451791
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to aerosol delivery devices that may include components configured to convert electrical energy to heat and atomize an aerosol precursor composition. An outer body may at least partially enclose the components. An illumination source may be configured to output electromagnetic radiation. For example, a light emitting diode may output light. A waveguide may be configured to receive the electromagnetic radiation from the illumination source and provide illumination at an outer surface of the outer body. The waveguide may include an energy conversion material configured to alter a wavelength of the electromagnetic radiation outputted by the illumination source to change a color of, or otherwise affect, the illumination. The illumination may also be dynamically adjusted. The waveguide may define the outer body, or the waveguide may be received with a separate outer body. Related methods are also provided.

  • Patent number: 9426642
Abstract: A mobile device may establish and register a connection to a first network at a registration server, and may subsequently establish and register a connection to a second network at the registration server. Registration of the connection to the second network may designate the second network as a primary network for providing services to the mobile device. In response to the registration of the connection to the second network, the mobile device may receive a notification indicating the connection to the second network is designated as a primary connection for providing at least one service to the mobile device. In response to receiving the notification, the mobile device may transmit, to a network entity, a pullback message including a request to refresh the registration of the first network at the registration server, thereby designating the first network as the primary network for providing the services to the mobile device.
