  • Patent number: 8030090
Abstract: A biological sample solution is ionized by electrospray and the sample solution is irradiated with an infrared laser beam to dissociate biological macromolecules into the constituents thereof. As a result, only non-covalent bonds of the biological macromolecules can be selectively severed and analyzed.

  • Publication number: 20080315084
Abstract: A pretreatment method of samples, in which injections of samples are performed efficiently and precisely when amino acids are analyzed with a mass spectrometer, is provided. For the analysis method of samples including analyte comprising an amino acid, an amine and/or a peptide with mass spectrometry, the analyte is derivatized with a modification reagent, the derivative is subjected to a microchip electrophoresis, and then eluate from the microchip electrophoresis is introduced into a mass spectrometer.
