  • Patent number: 9488124
Abstract: Provided is an engine capable of performing post-injection control with a proper fuel injection amount. The engine (1) comprises an engine body (10) equipped with a turbocharger (7), an engine rotational speed sensor (21), an acceleration opening degree sensor (24), a boost sensor (23), a turbo sensor (22), and an ECU (100) for performing post-injection control. The ECU (100) recognizes the rotational speed of the engine, the supercharging pressure, the load on the engine, and the rotational speed of the supercharger, and so performs the post-injection control that the rotational speed of the supercharger becomes equal to the target rotational speed of the supercharger calculated in the ECU (100).

  • Patent number: 8646270
Abstract: Turbines and compressors, which constitute superchargers, are disposed in series on an exhaust gas passage and an air intake passage, respectively. The supercharger is equipped with a supercharger rotation sensor, which transmits a detection signal obtained according to the rotation of the compressor to a control device, a bypass passage, which bypasses exhaust gas from the upstream side to the downstream side of the turbine, and a bypass valve, which regulates the flow rate of exhaust gas flowing through the bypass passage. Control device regulates the rotational speed of the compressors in a high-efficiency range by producing a control signal based on the detection signal from the supercharger rotation sensor, and sending the control signal to the bypass valve.

  • Publication number: 20110138806
Abstract: Turbines (21b, 31b) and compressors (21a, 31a), which constitute superchargers (21, 31), are disposed in series on an exhaust gas passage (3) and an air intake passage (2), respectively. The supercharger (31) is equipped with a supercharger rotation sensor (61), which transmits a detection signal obtained according to the rotation of the compressor (31a) to a control device, a bypass passage (4), which bypasses exhaust gas from the upstream side to the downstream side of the turbine (31b), and a bypass valve (34), which regulates the flow rate of exhaust gas flowing through the bypass passage (4). Control device (60) regulates the rotational speed of the compressors (21a, 31a) in a high-efficiency range by producing a control signal based on the detection signal from the supercharger rotation sensor (61), and sending the control signal to the bypass valve (34).

  • Publication number: 20090320284
Abstract: In a method for boring injection holes of an injector 1 having a plurality of intersections between an axis line of the injector 1 and the axes of the injection holes 10a bored in the injector 1, or so-called a group of injection holes 10, flat sections 10c, 10d, which are perpendicular to the injection holes 10a and include apertures of the injection holes 10a, are formed on boring portions of injection holes 10a. The boring portions are provided with recessed portions 10b and the recessed portions 10b are formed at the bottom thereof with flat sections 10c. Alternatively, the flat sections 10c, 10d are formed by cutting the boring portions, or by forging them.
