  • Patent number: 11391849
Abstract: According to the embodiments, a satellite signal acquiring apparatus includes an antenna, a direction sensor, a position sensor and a processor. The antenna receives radio waves from satellites. The direction sensor obtains direction information. The position sensor obtains position information. The processor directs the antenna based on the direction information obtained by the direction sensor to search a search range including a satellite target angle that is associated with the position information obtained by the position sensor for the satellite. The processor calculates a level of reliability of the direction information obtained by the direction sensor. The processor narrows the search range in accordance with the level of reliability.

  • Patent number: 9209637
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a secondary battery control apparatus includes a charger/discharger and a charge/discharge controller. The charger/discharger connects a plurality of secondary batteries, and charges one secondary battery by electric power discharged by another secondary battery. The charge/discharge controller controls the charger/discharger such that charging and discharging are performed between the plurality of secondary batteries by using the charger/discharger if battery temperature information detected by temperature detector is lower than a preset threshold temperature, wherein the charging is stopped and switched to discharging or pause if voltage information detected by the voltage detector reaches the upper limit voltage of the secondary battery, and the discharging is stopped and switched to charging or pause if the voltage information detected by the voltage detector reaches the lower limit voltage of the secondary battery.

  • Patent number: 8762926
Abstract: An area of a memory has a diagnosis area and a non diagnosis area, with the diagnosis area divided into a plurality of Row areas which do not overlap each other, and each of the Row areas is divided into a plurality of Cell areas which do not overlap each other. A memory fault diagnostic method has a diagnostic step in a Row area to diagnose between Cell areas with respect to all the combinations of a set of Cell areas in the Row area, and a diagnostic step between Row areas to diagnose between Row areas with respect to all the combinations of a set of Row areas in the diagnosis area. A Row area size is determined to be a size in which a time of the diagnosis in a Row area becomes equal to a time of the diagnosis between Row areas.
