  • Patent number: 6402404
Abstract: A sheet supply control apparatus for a printing press includes a sucker, a memory, a sheet detector, a counter, and a CPU. The sucker supplies sheets to a printing unit one by one with a predetermined supply interval. A count of sheets to be supplied to the printing unit is set in the memory. The sheet detector detects the sheets supplied from the sucker. The counter counts sheets supplied from the sucker after the sheet detector detects a first sheet. The CPU controls supply operation of the sucker, on the basis of the count preset in the memory and the count of the counter, such that the count of sheets supplied from the sucker coincides with the count preset in the memory. A sheet supply control method for a printing press is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4982806
Abstract: In an anti-lock control system for a motor vehicle, the design is made such that such that computed vehicle speed is prevented from remarkably departing from real vehicle speed as driving wheel slips before anti-lock control is started, thereby preventing occurrence of non-braking condition when anti-lock control is started. To this end, the manner in which the computed vehicle speed is computed, is changed between during braking operation (when anti-lock control is being effected) and non-braking operation (when no anti-lock control is being effected).

  • Patent number: 4739703
Abstract: A inking apparatus includes form rollers brought into rolling contact with vibrating rollers. Each form roller includes a rotatable roller shaft whose axial movement is limited, and a roller body fitted on the roller shaft. Right and left vibration stroke adjusting screws are threadably engaged with male screws at both ends of the roller shaft and are movable in an axial direction of the roller shaft. Compression coil springs are compressed between the right vibration stroke adjusting screw and one of both the ends of the roller body and between the left vibration stroke adjusting screw and the other end of the both ends of the roller body. The compression coil springs define a vibration stroke by positions where the compression coil springs are completely compressed.
