  • Patent number: 8224819
Abstract: An information processing method for an information processing apparatus to process content data, including generating content data information associated with content data; and registering information associated with the content data generated in the content data information generation step, in an edit list indicating a result of editing of the content data. The apparatus makes it possible to manage a large number of image data in the form of an editing result and easily manage a large number of image data having complicated relationships. A clip data detector of an editing apparatus detects clip data including image data and audio data supplied from the outside. The clip data detector extracts meta data associated with detected clip data and supplies it to a sub clip processing unit. A sub clip information generator of the sub clip processing unit generates sub clip information based on the meta data and supplies the generated sub clip information to a sub clip information registration unit.

  • Publication number: 20120099397
Abstract: An ultrasonic detection device is constructed in such a way as to include a discriminating processing unit (a time width detecting part 13 and a pulse width discrimination part 14) for approximating the shape of each signal which is a reflection signal which is reflected from an object as a result of transmitting a ultrasonic pulse toward the object, or a noise as an isosceles triangle and computing a pulse time width equal to the length of the base of the approximating isosceles triangle, and for discriminating between the reflection signal and the noise signal by determining whether the computed pulse time width exceeds a predetermined pulse width discrimination threshold. Therefore, the ultrasonic detection device can determine the pulse time width with stability, and carry out the discriminating process with a high degree of reliability.

  • Patent number: 8065024
Abstract: A bottom adjusting action control system for an adjustable bed is provided that facilitates adjustment of the adjustable bottom sections of the bed via a predetermined path of angular adjustment in reaching final set positions for the back and knee bottom sections. In particular, the control system of the present invention provides a means of adjusting the angular positions of adjustable bottom sections of the bed to predetermined final positions via preset bottom coordinative action patterns carried out by a controller means. The preset bottom coordinative action patterns raise and lower adjustable back and knee bottom sections of the bed in a coordinated manner, so as to adjust the bottom sections of the bed to the chosen angular positions without causing the user to slide relative to the bed, and without exerting uncomfortable abdominal pressure on the user.
